Come to me, Bombuh...
mxkov6 April 2018
"Guardians Of Sunshine" is simply a great episode of Adventure Time. With monsters, digital F & J, and of course, the bombuh, this episode was the perfect concoction of stupid and smart.

I'm not sure if it's because I'm all about video games or cute little threatening robots, but I know I loved this episode. BMO returns once again, being the adorable innocent robot that it is. The animation style is incredibly breathtaking, and with an amazing story to go with it, it makes for an especially amazing episode.

The "getting sucked into a video game" storyline has been done so many times before, but Adventure Time has reinvented it, with unique humor and a barrage of crazy monsters!

My only criticism is...that coin shoulda been worth more that a penny. Hmph.

Warning: Spoilers
This was such an awesome episode of "Adventure Time", that could be easily considered as one of the best moments in the entire series (Along with "Slumber Party Panic", the "Fionna and Cake" episode, "Thank You" and "Holly Jolly Secrets") While there are other cartoons that have used this concept (The idea of the main character being dragged into a video game)the originality of "Adventure Time" still manages to surprise me, resulting in a impressive and highly entertaining episode.

The CGI parts were pretty stylish and well made, having some kind of resemblance with the works of David O'Reilly, being just as crazy, and wonderful as those animations. I'm glad to see computer animation being used in that way, rather than just presenting an average CGI version of Finn and Jake.
