Chen & Tim centre-stage
bosporan11 April 2022
Pregnancy, marriage, things are moving fast for Nayla.

A welcome more prominent role for Chen (Melissa O'Neil) this week and it was fun to see her BFF-style-dump about Tim onto Nolan. This became a theme, her having unsavoury tasks such as dumpster-diving, though her empathy led her to make a magnanimous gesture. This turns out to be paying forward as Tim surprises her with a similar promise.

Of course the dance is fabulous - everyone is shipping them!

Decent episode

It was good to see a surprise reappearance from Greg Grunberg again! And they gave his small cameo appearance from before a redemption with this episode. I liked how they included the real life BS going down in LA, such as the packages be stolen from trains. Also glad to see a little Tim and Lucy fun with that dance.

Last 5 minutes got me worried
chts-6578314 April 2022
I thought this was the last episode. The last 5 minutes I was really worried about Nyla ex husband popped up and then ruined everything. Just glad he didn't. Everything was so good, people were laughing and dancing, but I couldn't focused on it. Every time when people moving around in background I thought I saw her ex husband. Anyway this episode would be a perfect ending though.

The Irony of this episode......
CapStar36211 November 2023
I cannot disregard the coincidence that just 3 months before this episode aired, Los Angeles actually had a string of rail road thefts going on from the exact same rail yard here in the show which was the Lincoln Heights Rail Yard had their multi-month string of freight cars being broken into and millions of dollars of merchandise and even COVID tests were stolen from rail cars. Thankfully though, the Actual LAPD Arrested over 100 people in connection to those thefts. I could almost swear a few video shots and angles looked like the same shots from a few news media sources, because the scene within the episode was an exact replica of the scenes shown on the news of those robberies.

Greg Gunberg is the best!
Racingphan211 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Greg Gunberg from 25 Words or Less adds so much in his second appearance here. Please get him his own series now! His character pulling a gun out off a perps bu tt is classic!

As for a pregnant woman working a case. Nope. She'd be on desk duty.

Please, Chen, Say VAHS One More Time
Anonnamus3 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This episode wasn't terrible. It had some humorous moments. It was actually better than I expected, considering I spent half the episode with high blood pressure from hearing Chen say "vahs" over and over. It's vase. Like case.

  • I am very happy for Harper because I think she is a kick-ass character, but her and James are just a weird couple to me. It's hard for me to remember they're in a relationship, much less married when I haven't seen them kiss a single time on the lips. All the hugs and the cheek kissing just makes them feel like a platonic couple. Either way, I do like each of them individually so why not together?

  • Nolan and Bailey. Also love them both, though for some reason I still think of Jenna Dewan being in her 20s, not my age. They're cute together and I hope it lasts.

  • I love Silas and wish he would make an appearance in more episodes. I loved the entire storyline of the skit they were filming, and I think Sargent Grey stood out the most. He has great comedic timing!

  • Greg Grunberg is fantastic in everything he's in. He's every bit as charming as Nathan Fillion so seeing both of them together onscreen was a delight, even if their story was quite boring.

  • It's amazing how far Tim has come in my eyes. I hated him at first but he is now easily my favorite character. Although I do find Chen to be a bit bland at times, I cannot wait for the inevitable moment where they finally see each other romantically. They trigger my inner teenager.

Season 4 overall is ten times better than the train wreck that was season 3, but that isn't saying much. I am still finding The Rookie quite entertaining overall and I'm in it for the long haul.

Getting more stupid with every episode.
denise-dargan3321 June 2022
Half the FBI are too old and some of them plus the police would never be employed as they are way overweight and look as if they are waiting to have a heart attack. Whoever selects these actors for this show should be sacked.

What a joke Bailey is whatever emergency occurs, if it is a fire she is first there as a fire woman whenever there is a medical emergency she is first there as a medic and when there is a military emergency guess whose first there AGAIN. YOU'VE GOT IT BAILEY leading from the front. She is a totally ludicrous character. Loved the series but it is now loosing any credibility.
