Donny Culpepper : Monday I appear before a judge. You got til then to get me out of here.
Patrick Jane : Yeah, well, um, that could be a little problematic.
Donny Culpepper : Otherwise I will tell everyone how you hired me to rob your boss's house.
Patrick Jane : ...Well, that's just snitching. Isn't that against your code of honor?

Teresa Lisbon : What's going on with you? You've been acting strange since this case started.

[Cho pauses slightly noticing Jane's behavior]

Teresa Lisbon : I knew something was going on with you. What is it?... The absolute truth or I beat it out of you.
Patrick Jane : LaRoche has something I need. So I hired Culpepper to break into LaRoche's house. If I can't get the charges dropped, Culpepper is going to tell on me.
Teresa Lisbon : ...Oh my God.
Patrick Jane : I know it's bad, Hightower didn't kill anyone,she was framed Red John has a friend inside CBI
Teresa Lisbon : The Todd Johnson Murder, La Roche shortlisted a few suspects leading to Hightower, that's what you need, the list?
Patrick Jane : There were four names on that list besides Hightower. So one of them is working for Red John.
Teresa Lisbon : Did you ask LaRoche?
Patrick Jane : LaRoche? No. Because if it's not one of those names, then LaRoche is Red John's man.
Teresa Lisbon : Why didn't you tell me about this earlier?
Patrick Jane : I didn't want to put you in danger
Teresa Lisbon : You're an idiot. I will fix this. But we are going to have a *serious* talk after
[she leaves]
Patrick Jane : I've been trying to fix it all week, I even had the perfect escape planned then he decides I want the charges dropped!

Teresa Lisbon : You're gonna owe me big time.
Patrick Jane : For what exactly?
Teresa Lisbon : [Lisbon picks up a paperweight and prepares to throw it at Jane] Oh?
Patrick Jane : Ah! Two words- anger management.
[Lisbon puts the weight down. Jane leaves. Then Jane pops his head back into Lisbon's office]
Patrick Jane : Hey. Thank you.

J.J. LaRoche : What were you thinking? Because of your actions, Donald Culpepper cannot stand trial
Teresa Lisbon : I'm sorry, frustration at the job
J.J. LaRoche : Your apology is of no import
Patrick Jane : Come on, did he steal anything?
[Lisbon glares at him]
J.J. LaRoche : [to Lisbon] A week suspension is mandatory and six months of anger management
Patrick Jane : Oh!

Patrick Jane : Are those bulletproof vests?
Teresa Lisbon : Yeah

Wayne Rigsby : Okay, I need you to keep him on the phone for at least two minutes.
Patrick Jane : [Jane answers the phone] Hi. This is Patrick Jane. Listen I know who you are.
Omar Hassan : SHUT UP! I am coming to get you! I don't know who you are, but I will make you pay for this!
Patrick Jane : No. You shut up! You listen to me. I know what you want, and the only way you're going to get it is to meet me in person. We've got something to settle here. Outside the repair shop in one hour. You be there, you get what you want. If you don't, you'll never see it again. Simple as that!
[Jane ends the call. Lisbon groans]
Kimball Cho : What was that?
Wayne Rigsby : I said two minutes! That was hardly thirty seconds.
Patrick Jane : I just thought it would be simpler to bring him to us. It's okay. Thank me later. Now the strangeness we were talking about.
Teresa Lisbon : Never mind.

Patrick Jane : It's very old, I've got to call this in.
Heather Blue : Wait, if you do call it in, the legal system would never sort this out, it'd probably end up locked away in some government locker.
Patrick Jane : Probably.
Heather Blue : What if we take it?
Patrick Jane : You want us to take the carpet, sell it and divide the profits between us.
[chuckles]
Patrick Jane : That's a great idea, 50/50 split?
Heather Blue : 50/50 split.
Patrick Jane : [They shake hands] What did Fisher say when you suggested that to him?
Heather Blue : Fisher was a soft headed fool.
Patrick Jane : [walks away] Oh, so Heather you knew about the money, you knew he was never in the Peace Corps?
Heather Blue : I never said that.
Patrick Jane : No, No, No, he told you about the money, he told you about his identity and you shot him.
[turns his back]
Patrick Jane : I need to call this in, Lisbon will be very happy to know.
[Heather draws a gun]
Patrick Jane : Are you pointing a gun at me?
[Turns around with his phone in an almost open hand]
Heather Blue : Teddy was not who he said he was, the man I loved was in the Peace Corps, he was going to save the world then I found out he was a soldier, he was a killer!
Patrick Jane : So you shot him, that's a little counterintuitive?
Heather Blue : You don't understand, you can only see things from your bourgois government minds, do you know how much good we could do with all that money, how many animal shelters we could save? When I told him, he talked to me like I was some sort of criminal!
Patrick Jane : Well you are...
Heather Blue : No, blessed is what I am, the universe wants me to have this money, I'm sorry, I have to kill you now but I'm doing it from a place of love.
Kimball Cho : [enters] Freeze! Drop your weapon!
Heather Blue : [dropping the gun] Wow!

Patrick Jane : Out back checking out escape routes
Teresa Lisbon : You get anything?
Patrick Jane : The killer didn't find what he was looking for
Grace Van Pelt : How do you know?
Patrick Jane : This entire room has been torn apart, you find what you're looking for, you end your search, one side should be untouched
Grace Van Pelt : Unless he found it in the last place he looked
Patrick Jane : The possibility of finding something in the last place you look is extremely improbable
[he walks away]
Teresa Lisbon : Where are you going?
Patrick Jane : As much as I enjoy the surroundings,we do need to solve this case, it is our job am I wrong?
