Gary notices how Santino brightens up the day of his wife, so he decides to ask the priests in the monastery to let the child go home with them while waiting for the DNA test results. Father Anthony doesn't approve of the said suggestion, but he instantly gives in to the request after Santino himself approves of Gary's suggestion. Among all the priests, Father Jose is the one most affected of Santino's decision; but despite his personal interests, he admits to Santino that he is truly happy that he had found the family he has been looking for all those years. On the other hand, Malena hears of the said news. Upon confirming that Santino is bound to go for good, she feels great relief because the one and only evidence behind Santino's mother's death will be gone forever.
