LeAnn Rimes seems determined to change her primary color from “Blue” to… red and green.

She embraced Christmas music in a big way with a couple of mid-decade holiday recordings, and will soon embark on her sixth annual Christmas tour. But Rimes is really bringing the connection home with “It’s Christmas, Eve,” an upcoming Hallmark Channel in which she has the title role, and for which she’s recorded a soundtrack, due Oct. 12.

Variety has the exclusive premiere of the title song she co-wrote and sang for the film. It’s one of three original compositions she cut for the project, which represents an extra effort to bring something new to the holiday proceedings, as opposed to regifted chestnuts.

On Wednesday, just one day after LeAnn Rimes celebrated her 30th birthday, she entered a 30-day in-patient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress.

"LeAnn has voluntarily entered a 30 day in-patient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress," her rep Marcel Pariseau told People.com. "While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to learn and develop coping mechanisms. While privacy isn't expected, it's certainly appreciated."

"This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be," she says. "All the things in my life will be there when I get out, but you know what? I'm hoping they're not going to affect me as much. I'll have the tools to know how to deal with them."

Considering it was made for Country Music Television, Reel Love’s perspectives on life and living are exactly what you’d expect: city life makes people materialistic, country living lets you appreciate what really matters. As a city dweller, I can’t say I actually disagree with that perspective, but I do take issue with the second-rate writing that somehow suckered Burt Reynolds into the film. No one expects made-for-tv movies to be prosaic works of art, but at the same time it’s not wrong to demand that they be written at a level higher than what you’d find in a shoddy harlequin romance story self-published on the internet.

Veteran actor Burt Reynolds had the female cast and crewmembers of his TV movie Reel Love blushing after sending them bouquets of flowers accompanied by a cheeky message alluding to a raunchy encounter.

His onscreen daughter LeAnn Rimes became one of Reynolds' many onset targets and she admits his saucy prank had everyone in giggles.

She tells People magazine, "Burt Reynolds, who plays my dad in Reel Love, sent flowers to all of the women on set with a card that said, 'Thanks for last night.' He started with me - he's hysterical."...

LeAnn Rimes concedes that the setup for her Cmt movie Reel Love (premiering Nov. 13, 7 p.m. Et) isn’t exactly original: A hardworking city girl (her lawyer character Holly), travels back to the country (sweet home Alabama, where the fishing’s good) for a family emergency and begins to fall for a guy who likes to fight with her (and pays more attention to her than her current boyfriend). But unlike most of the movies in that particular rom-com subgenre, this one doesn’t have you rolling your eyes when it’s decision time: Does she stay or does she go?...

LeAnn Rimes knows a lot more about Hugh Hefner's empire these days.

The singer's husband, Eddie Cibrian, is among the stars of NBC's new Monday drama "The Playboy Club." The show is being filmed in Chicago, so Rimes has been making that city her base while also traveling to promote Tuesday's (Sept. 27) release of her newest album: "Lady & Gentlemen," her cover versions of songs originally recorded by male artists.

"Yeah, I'm definitely around the Playboy Bunnies a little bit more," Rimes tells Zap2it. "They're the old-school Bunnies, though, which is great. The costumes are awesome, and the set's amazing. They've truly re-created what it was back in the day, and it's really beautiful. Once you walk in there, it completely takes you back to another world. It's fun to watch, it really is."

Cmt has announced the pickup of four new unscripted series: Top Secret Recipe featuring chef Todd Wilbur, and Trick My What? with John Schneider, both of which will premiere Oct. 7, and Bayou Billionaires and Summer Rental, which will launch in winter. In addition to Fridays, where Top Secret Recipe and Trick My What? will air, Cmt will open a second night of original programming in the fall on Thursday with the returning Sweet Home Alabama and Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, which will debut new seasons Oct. 20. Lady Gaga will kick off the summer concert series on 'Good Morning America.'

ABC announced the news during this morning's 'Gma' broadcast. Look for Gaga to take the stage on May 27, four days after her new album drops.

'Gma' has been beefing up its content to draw younger viewers. Last month the morning show welcomed Britney Spears with a concert event.

Last summer Lady Gaga took the stage as part of the 'Today' show's summer concerts.
