The Cinema Snob: Zombie vs Ninja
The Cinema Snob (2009)
"Zombie vs Ninja"
In this now long-running series, writer-director Brad Jones play the title character, the Cinema Snob, a mainstream or high art critic who decides to review some of the most notoriously bad movies ever made. Since the original episode this series has grown to have a very high cult following and fans from around the world.
The Cinema Snob kicked off a "Pierre Kirby Week" to celebrate his 50th review(s). After a brief history on director Godfrey Ho and his hack and splice history, we get another very funny episode where the Snob attacks everything from the horrid dubbing to the rather silly buck teeth that the main "master" has. Fans of the Snob will certainly enjoy this episode since there are some really funny one-liners and there's no doubt that the clips from the actual film also add a lot of laughs. I'm sure every bad movie lover knows about bad dubbing but my Lord was the dubbing here awful. It really seems like the dubber was just joking around and they ended up using the awful voice.
