Betty Brown and Jerry Browne -- no relation -- sort of elope n tis short skit of one-reel movie, then sing a song.

It's a very 1920s sort of skit, with Browne looking for musical-comedy college freshman, and Miss Brown a frizzy-haired, helium-voiced airhead. It's aequate but not particularly memorable. This was the fellow's only appearance in the flickers. The girl had a far longer career, from Essanay comedies in 1915, to appearing as Stan Laurel's wife in OUR RELATIONS; she died in 1975, aged 79.
