- Obstacles in the Board Game mode can knock Miis off of landmasses or bomb them with lava.
- The Space Brawl minigame involves Miis flying and hitting one another to score points; Miis also throw space debris at each other.
- The Time Bomb and Word Bomb minigames depicts Miis passing a cartoony explosive around, which detonates propels them into the air if they take too long or shake the Wii remote (bomb) too much; Miis appear stunned from the blast.
- Miis can get injured in various minigames such as Tropical Punch (with Miis controlling machines with boxing gloves), Meet and Greet (another boxing glove machine and a lose tire), as well as other ones where they are blasted from vehicles or hit on the head with oversized hammers.
