Perhaps this being my first experience in racing games as a child, I have a biased love towards it. However at the same time I still play this game to this day and my love for it never falters. Despite the lack of story and repetitive game play, it's still an enjoyable way to pass time if you enjoy older racing games with guns. I've not yet found another racing game that could ever replace this one or even be on the same level in my opinion. Perhaps that's my bias talking, but I stand firm in my opinion.
I wanted to also mention a couple characters from this game, mostly Inferno and Gekko. For some reason those two have always stuck with me even during the several years I had forgotten about this game in middle and highschool. To me they are the two most memorable characters, but it may also be because in my play throughs, they were always the ones talking the most. Regardless they remain my two favorite characters to hear yelling at me during races.
In case this matters to anyone, there is a small bit of foul language in this game, however there is very little of it. Off the top of my head I can only recall Inferno saying a single swear word. There's likely other instances, but I either have never heard them or I simply tuned them out. But on the other hand, this is a T rated game where you are trying to kill other racers, I don't think foul language is much of an issue at that point.
All in all, great game, will continue to replay it for years to come. Sad that it's such an obscure game that no one knows about. I wish there was more games after this one, I would have loved to see it in improved graphics.
