I like the third one the most

Honestly, This movie is not that bad. I've seen worse.

It's a typical jump scare and teenage genre. Don't expect much from this movie. If you are a horror movie lover, you will enjoy some of the scene here.

This movie divided into 3 short stories. I like the last one the most, it's not scary but so funny. It's nice to see how they execute scary movie into an new perspective so I give this an extra star.

Still, only got 4 stars from me. The reason that makes this movie bad is 'the short stories'. The audiences don't have enough time to know the characters background and the plots are not that thought-out.

Hence there's no emotional involvement to this movie and that makes you feel it's pointless.

Fairly generic horror anthology...

Well, I didn't know that the 2022 Thai horror movie "Haunted Universities 2nd Semester" was an anthology, and had I known that I might actually have opted not to sit down and spend 130 minutes on watching it. But I didn't know, and thus I opted to watch this, as I had never heard about it before.

And as most horror anthologies go, then "Haunted Universities 2nd Semester" wasn't really an particularly outstanding movie experience. There were three segments or stories in this anthology, titled "The Final Year's Cheer", "Bed C" and "The Old Science Building". Of these three stories then I was only entertained by the first one, the one titled "The Final Year's Cheer". The other two stories were watchable, sure, but that was also about it.

The acting performances in the stories were good. I wasn't familiar with the cast ensemble here, but the actors and actresses did fair enough jobs with their given roles.

Visually then "Haunted Universities 2nd Semester" is a fairly average Asian horror experience. You have the archetypical female ghost with long, black hair covering the face, grey skinned ghosts with milky eyes, and such things. So if you are familiar with Asian horror cinema, then you know what you are getting into here.

While I did manage to sit through all three stories here, then this is not a horror anthology I would recommend that you waste your time, money or effort on, unless you are a diehard fan of Asian horror, well Thai horror in particular.

My rating of "Haunted Universities 2nd Semester" lands on a generous four out of ten stars.

Super boring

The movie is pointless. Wasted my time with my wife. It has 3 short stories which are not scary at all. They're just plain stupid.

For someone who hates horror movies, honestly this is the worst (at the moment).

The Unexpected

Warning: Spoilers
Before watching this, I've read a lot of reviews and it seems to be disappointing. However, this film is terrific in some way. 3 short stories has no connection between them but each gives us a lesson.

The first story about a girl, Mesa, who can see ghost for her entire life and she cannot stand that, so she decided to end her life. I think that the main plot of this one is about the friendship between 2 girls and one problem: depression. You can see the marks on her wrist right before she jumps, that's her self-harm scars, which means, she has been suffering from her stupid ability but no one could understand her, and supposing that Mesa is just making a scene.

The second story is about a med student, Tan, who has been hiding his disease and keep studying higher to become doctor. For me, this one carry such simple message. It's just about how to be a good doctor since everyone is chasing for money.

The third one, which I found pretty interesting, is actually a comedy/parody. Like the other 2 stories, this one wanted to tell us that life will continue even we failed, so don't give up and keep moving forward.

To conclude, this is not a must-watch film, but you should see it, like to entertain yourself.
