- The game is fairly violent, you can kill enemies with sling shots and arrows and knives, and you can get killed by the enemies the same ways you kill them, all of this with blood shown, yet none of all that are very gory or so bloody such as The Last of Us or Resident Evil game.
- There are a huge amount of rats in the game that can devour the player and the enemies alive. (not so gory)

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- There are parts of the game where you can see what the plague has caused to the people that was affected by it. Corpses can be found randomly and there is a place in the game that you have to walk through that has A LOT of corpses that you just see almost everywhere.
- The part where rats can devour the player or the enemy alive can be quiet frightening and disturbing for some players.
- APT: Requiem is by far more dramatic and dark than APT: Innocence. Huge sense of hopelessness and sadness can be felt during your walkthroughs, especially in the last chapters of the game.
- THE ENDING IS EXTREMELY DARK AND DEPRESSING.

- Beatrice's death scene is very shocking and sad, the aftermath of her death is also very emotional and depressing.
- Hugo's death is EXTREMELY sad and depressing, the Process you have to go through before his death is very VERY frustrating and intense.
- Arnaud's death scene is very sad and emotional.
