Twins in Crime' marks the debut feature film of director Tantane and producer Shae Mostinckx. They embarked on this cinematic journey with no funding or budget, relying on a crew of only two people to bring their vision to the screen.
Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, 'Twins in Crime' was produced and completed over the course of a year and a half.
To bring 'Twins in Crime' to life, directors Tantane and Shae Mostinckx took on all production roles, including screenplay, casting, contracts, cinematography, prop making, costumes, production design, camera work, lighting, sound, editing, color correction, sound mixing, VFX, DCP preparation, poster creation, and trailer.
'Twins in Crime' was filmed in 10 days, and post-production, managed by a single person, lasted 6 months.
While the film's narrative was intended to take place in Belgium, the entire production was actually shot in Porto, Portugal.
