They go in with support from Georgian commandos, which are eliminated by explosives. Latif escapes with some cahoots, who were screened for surgery. Some turn up in Budapest, where a world security summit is held, carrying the neuro-toxin and sophisticated bomb found in the tunnels. Having finally decrypted John Allen's PDA documents, Grant sends Scott and Stonebridge to an underground facility where Latif and his associates, Dr. Mullova and Usmanov, have been testing a toxic VX nerve agent on locals. The related discovery of a group of forged passports leads Grant to relocate the crib to Budapest, Hungary - where dignitaries attending the upcoming World Security Summit are in danger of becoming victims of a chemical catastrophe.
Michael and Kerry Stonebridge discuss their future, their pregnancy, and Michaels employment with Section 20. Kerry wants him to return home with her to raise their family. There are definite domestic consequences for Michael for staying with the team. Scott learns that Colonel Grant set him up to test his allegiance. In his tirade, he points the finger at Major Sinclair.
