Grigori Lomidze's "Tebe, Moskva!" ("To You, Moscow" in English) is a look at 800 years of Muscovite history. Naturally the cartoon emphasizes the Napoleonic Wars and World War II. Impressive stuff.
I should note that the cartoon's title IS in Russian (IMDb only shows the English title). Also, I've noticed that IMDb has a shortage of pages about Soyuzmultfilm productions. Pretty much all these shorts are available on YouTube, so finding them isn't a challenge. I hope that IMDb eventually has pages about them (and I plan to review those cartoons).
Anyway, it's a good cartoon.
