One of the better episodes lately.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was good. It reminded me of other frank milatry episodes that he wrote in early seasons that were great episodes in NCIS LA. There was almost no weak spot or weak scene. Only Few things bothered me, the big one was that Deeks wasn't around and the team felt incomplete. In these kind of episodes were one of the main characters Sam Callen Deeks Kensi are in trouble, the showing of the remain characters trying to save him or her is great drama, these guys are family family that we want to see working together, fighting together and enjoying each other, not having Deeks trying to save his brother in arm made the episode feel lacking. There could have been great team scenes. This is on the production team they should arrange their episodes differently, making sure that in the important characters story the others will be present.

Last episode, there was no React team helping them so Kilbride and his assistant had to leave ops centre, this episode they called them. Someone should really work on scripts.

Good Episode!

It seems writers are wrapping up tired story lines! Yay. Episode even better because Deeks is in South America! Leave him there and have Kensi join him. My skin crawls when they're riffing about their lives and illegal immigration ... oops .... I mean adoption. I digress. This episode was clever and enjoyable.

Down the Rabbit Hole

Warning: Spoilers
This is one of those episodes that follows a very simple formula and thrusts us immediately into a seemingly escape-free situation for one of the heroes. A more refreshing take than the crime of the week we usually get, but obviously we can't do this that many times a season.

This was intense for most of the episode, surprisingly the only down time came when Sam was figuring out a bomb to free Callen, which you think would be a peak time for the show. That was a gap that they did not address in the writing, but overall the show did a fine job here with an exciting episode, one we sorely needed.

Isn't it amazing!?

Isn't it amazing that after getting rid or tempering all the woke garbage the writers actually came up with a couple of really really good episodes. I gave him a nine just because of the effort that was involved, it's a reward. As far as television is concerned that's probably about as good as you're going to get for a weekly Network television show that's been on for 13 years.
