Heart wrenching and beautiful

Mild spoilers for previous episodes.

Pythor's quest for the Fang Blades is not over. The Ninja must stop him. Lloyd continues on his destiny to become the Green Ninja; Sensei follows his own destiny.

This episode genuinely brought a tear to my eye. I don't think I've ever been more moved by a cartoon episode than I have by this one. The ending of this was so utterly beautiful, I could hardly stop myself from crying. The voice acting in this episode was so good, I found myself lost to the emotions of not only the voice actors but the simple and beautiful animation of the characters as well. There was no hope for me in this episode, and this is sure to make slightly older kids that watch it emotional.

Although some of the episodes seemed slightly rushed through out the first season, this one was done really well. Bringing this episode out over two episodes has done a lot of good for the show, and for this episode – and no doubt for the twelfth episode – and has tied it all up really well.

I cannot wait to go onto the next episode of this, and to watch how the first series ends and wraps up. It's going to be beautiful and heart wrenching – you can tell just from how well done this episode was.
