There's some nice material here between Xavier and John, with an opening shot that practically guarantees they're both going to end up covered in mud.It doesn't disappoint.Xavier's sense of humour about the whole thing while John takes it all deadly seriously is a brilliant contrast and Gina and Vanessa recognising the values of each other's philosophy provides a nice ending to their storyline.
Meanwhile, April tracks Liam down and, after being annoyingly unsympathetic for most of the last week, Irene eventually persuades Bianca to go and see him.The resulting conversation probably helps them but leaves Bianca as confused as to whether she should be waiting for him or moving on with her life as ever.And there's a good Xavier/April scene as a result.Colleen and Keith also get to talk and seemingly wrap up that storyline.
