Ok so... I just finished the trilogy of Bunshinsaba VS. Sadako (2016-2021) and interesting on the trilogy. I just wonder if BiXian will having a fight with Sadako's bestie, Kayako Saeki (neé: Kawamata) and her son Toshio Saeki (Toshio Yamada) and this just pop up on my screen.
First we have the acting, for me i think the cast did a good job on their role. But some character still make me quite confusing... I was hoping for it to end like Bunshinsaba VS. Sadako (not like all of this was fake, i only care about the graphics and fight scene). And they quite dissapointing me. For the graphics and cinematography then.... it's okay (not bad but not good either.) But the fact that both Kayako and BiXian were just some girl cosplaying and somehow they can flying in the fight in order to make them looks like real ghost/onryo. That's too logic for me, however the sound for the movie was bad, i still don't understand why the sound at the fight scene were muted. But in the fight i need it to be much longer and also some good editing (which make me wish the director and writer is He Huang/River Huang).... well, the movie still has some good scene and i really like the ending due to it being Good Ending and i wish like BiXian and Kayako were just not the female main protagonist and Ling FangFang cosplaying, i will be more happy if they were real ghosts and then capturing the developer. The actor for Kayako and and Ling FangFang does a great job (Not too good but okay).
And at first i feels logic that how does FangFang knocked everybody while she just pretended to be Kayako and look at them... but it's good that no one died (except Ling Fei), if i were the director of the movie i will copy some scenes in Bunshinsaba VS. Sadako or inspires it.
But in my option, the movie was still good. (I just missed Kayako's death rattle and that throwing sharp woods thing of BiXian) And this movie gets a 5/10 in my option. I don't recommend u guys to watch this but u can watch this if you're simply wants to see BiXian VS Kayako, who would win.
I'm actually dissapointing that the director gives the movie 3 names: BiXian VS. Kayako, Bunshinsaba and The Curse/The Grudge of BiXian/Pen Fairy to trick unsuspecting people into watching it three times. Stll doesn't as good as Bunshinsaba VS. Sadako (Still a little bit better than Sadako VS. Dixian a.k.a that badly prequel to Bunshinsaba VS Sadako).
