Another storyline from Hallmark I haven't seen before.

Also another Hallmark movie where I couldn't guess the ending. Watched till the end.

Great scenery-loved the location. Got the true island feel.

Ryan Paevey brought his usual natural approach to his character while Ashley Williams seemed a bit over the top in some scenes.

Chemistry had more a friend vibe than romantic.

Also enjoyed the scenes with the newly married gay couple. I'm friends with people like that couple. They're fun to be around. Thank you, Hallmark for including them.

And lastly, Hallmark has to give Ryan Paevey a sequel movie or show starring his character in this movie.

It's kinda funny, but sad too, that we're so polarized these days, and that people will waste their time review-bombing a tv-movie because they're so afraid of reality.

They're mad that after years, even decades of bland, by-the-numbers, dated storylines, Hallmark is finally embracing reality and including gay characters in their movies.

And what's so funny -- and ironic -- is these terrified folks have no idea how many of Hallmark's (and any other soap opera-type channel's) LEADING MEN are in fact gay, including some of their most popular. On top of that, some are publicly out -- like Peter Porte, Luke MacFarlane and Jonathan Bennett -- and not ashamed or afraid of what anyone thinks of their orientation.

Having said that, it's indeed sad that there are still people out there who have been taught to condemn, shame, and even disown their own children, simply for loving someone of their own sex. They didn't choose to be gay, it's not a "lifestyle choice"...yet they're cast out because they're different. But that too is changing big time. Fewer and fewer people every year are going to these evangelical churches and believing all the bigotry and hate.

So go ahead, downvote all you like. That won't change the FACT that the overwhelming majority of the public is not only not afraid of gay people, they have gay friends and acquaintences they love -- and enjoy movies like this one where Hallmark is starting to embrace what has always been a small percentage of the population.

Thank you Hallmark for making an effort with movies like this, to include characters that represent everyone. And also for hiring gay actors who aren't ashamed of their orientation. This movie was pretty damn good, especially compared to all the cheesy Christmas fluff.

I looked forward to this movie. Ashley Williams always brings something special to the screen in energy and joy. Ryan Paevey is also always a sure thing. The premise of both-stood-up and go-on-the-honeymoon-anyway sounded like a good one. Even a little unusual. And for the most part, my expectations were met with a but.

Near the end someone says something like "I'm not sure what I think about that." Well that's how I feel about the messages the characters were saying toward the end of the movie. These Hallmark movies and their clones have messages. They may not always be deeply profound, but there are messages. In this movie, I think they were confused and possibly even contradictory.

There was chemistry between Williams and Paevey. But there were some little disconnects also, intentional ones. There were a lot of funny lines and situations. There was a lot of breathtaking scenery.

I Tweeted during the movie: Dear Hallmarkchannel, please make text messages bigger, at least twice as big. Hannah was laughing at a series of them and I never got the joke because even with rewind and pause, I couldn't read them all. That is so frustrating.

Perhaps next time I watch this in a year or so, it will make more sense, but despite some good fun, the feeling I was left with was confusion.

Say "Hallmark movie" and you almost immediately can guess the progression of the plot. That's not a criticism as it's always in the execution. And this particular show executes well with a man and a woman who meet after being jilted on their wedding day and end up at the same honeymoon hotel in Hawaii. Yeah, you can guess what happens. But Ashley Williams is so FUNNY and delightful that you almost forget this is a Hallmark movie. Whether it's weeping uncontrollably in a bathroom, freaking out at a Haunted Hawaii tour or estimating the risks associated with jumping off a waterfall (she's an actuary) Ashley is a lot of fun. Paevy has an easygoing charm as her romantic foil and, for those who may be interested, actually takes off his shirt a couple of times.

Fun Summer Nights movie with a great cast dynamic -definitely thought Ashley and Ryan had a fun and enjoyable chemistry. I wouldn't mind seeing both of them together again in future Hallmark movies.

Although I really like both these actors, I was worried that the two wouldn't be good together. But, they played off each other well. The movie was quite funny. We laughed a lot. The overall story was different than normal Hallmark, but really well done. Scenery was beautiful. For all the women out there, seeing Ryan Paevy with no shirt was a definite added benie.

I enjoyed this movie. Ryan Paevey and Ashley Williams did a nice job with this Hallmark show.

They really didn't sizzle together, but were still fun.

There were a couple of miscast characters. Becca was decidedly boring and Hanna's mother looked younger than Ashley Williams.

Ryan Paevey was mighty easy on the eyes and was a shirtless treat. The story was a pleasant departure from the usual Romcom fare. Thank you Hallmark.

Story, actors, director, setting -all were quite perfect. Have not truly enjoyed the comedy, the great chemistry between all the actors, the real enjoyment watching a good full length movie can bring. Hallmark is not known for this-but all is good here... Caveat again:, It was too short.

Ryan and Ashley clicked. Their comedic timing was perfect . Their supporting cast was perfect as well... enjoyable to connect with, "real" people .

Fans calling for a sequel are serious. This is the best "feel good" movie I have seen in years... We fans need: More surfing, snorkeling, and the beauty of Hawaii.

Loved it. Please repeat the good feels.

Parts of this were very good, parts of it were cheesy, but all of it was well-shot and pretty enjoyable. I'd say the ending was very rushed, which wasn't ideal from a payoff standpoint. Still, there were some notably solid moments where you felt what the characters were feeling, which is not the usual from Hallmark. I'd say this was better than average for the genre.

Normally, I absolutely love both the leading actors in this movie. I wanted to love it, but I just couldn't. Premise is lame and rushed, characters lack depth and development, the filter is so ridiculous on Ashley to the point of her not even looking herself or even real, plot feels rushed and the caricature take on gays made it impossible for me to even get past the first half hour. Honestly, it feels like for the last year and a half or so that Hallmark is just focused on churning movies out at such a fast rate that the quality has tanked. I wish they would focus on quality versus quantity when it comes to their movies. Bring back the cute movies like October Kiss that made me fall in love with Ashley to begin with! And Harvest Moon with Ryan!

I love Hallmark movies, in part because of their cheesy predictability. It was a little more funny than some others. I actually laughed out loud more than once. It was nice to see the individuals be mature about their decisions and finding themselves on their own for a change. The lack of the usual instance of one of the people overhearing the worst part of a conversation taken out of context and then being upset about it was refreshing. That trope gets old. This movie was refreshing and a little different than the standard Hallmark romance.

Instead of "meet cute", the story was more like "meet boot', as our romantic mains both start the story being dumped by their fiancés. Through a series of mostly believable coincidence, they wind up at the same resort as Ashley Williams decides to take her honeymoon trip alone.

Here's why I wrote "Great start": By the time Ashley gets to the hotel, they are still expecting a "honeymoon couple" and the room is set up that way. The hotel's frantic attempt to clear that out and Ashley's reactions and dialogue when she gets to the room is hilarious. Laugh out loud for both of us. :-)

They don't have nearly as much humor the rest of the way, and the ending issue that stalls the romance was entirely predictable, but we thoroughly enjoyed the watch.

Hannah Holt (Ashley Williams) gets dumped on her wedding day. She runs into Josh Wyatt (Ryan Paevey) who also got stood up. She decides to go on her honeymoons anyways and he agrees to buy a ticket to the first destination out. They are surprised to find themselves both going on a trip to Hawaii and then ending up in the same romantic resort.

They need to get out of the hotel and shoot more on the beach. They do go into the jungle and have a section underwater. All that is very nice and I do understand the extra expense. There is plenty of sunshine. The beach is the cherry on top. As for the leads, Ashley brings her Cheshire Cat smile and Ryan brings his beautiful chest. They're good although I would up the ante with their meet-cute. They should really run into each other literally. A little physical humor goes a long way. There is a good light sprinkling of drama in the romance. Her fiancée is a great dud. He has the perfect mix of blandness and delusional confidence. This is very good for a Hallmark movie.

A fun movie with refreshing writing featuring mature decision making by good actors who are also having fun. The scenery is beautiful! Thank you for an enjoyable movie, Hallmark!

Hannah and Josh both get stood up on their wedding day, they meet and they encourage each other to go on their honeymoon, to get something out of it. So, of course, of all the resorts, of all the honeymoon destionations, of all the cities in the world, they end up in the same resort in Hawaii. Wow, unexpected.

I really enjoy watching Ashley Williams, she always puts a smile on my face and this was no exception. Yes, this movie has everything every Hallmark movie ever done has. Even though you know what to expect, you have fun. At least I did. And of course... Hawaii.

Ryan and Ashley had chemistry but didn't feel like the romantic type but that of two people who have been best friends for 10 years.

I do encourage you to watch it, you'll have fun.

If you think you've seen one Hallmark movie, you've seen them all, well, this movie doesn't change that. BUT, it's presentation of the Hallmark standard is so different than those previously released.

I am speaking as a self-proclaimed romcom (Hallmark) specialist; this is a top 5 movie. For me, it's a co-number 1.

It is laugh out loud funny. The writing was spectacular and Ashley Williams is perfection in bringing the words to life. She is so funny. And Ryan Paevy is the perfect as the "straight " part of this team. I wasn't sure how these to would work, but they did. They are professionals!!

All of the characters are endearing. There were no "unlikeable" characters. Even the "bad guys" were likable. This made the movie genuine.

This may sound strange, but it was a lot more in tune with "real life" than most of the movies. Again, the writing on this one was awesome.

It was fun! I watch Hallmark for the "light" content. I don't want dark and gloomy. For once, the significant other did not die young to leave our leads single and available.

There were no "stupid secrets". Again, the dialogue was normal. You weren't yelling at the tv saying "just tell him!"

And finally, the two non-human characters were incredible. The location and the music. Whoever titled the movie and got rights to Eddie Money's original song and whoever inserted song at the most perfect position toward the end of the movie deserves an award. My favorite part hands down!!

I will watch this one every chance I get!!

This was decent and it was nice to see Ryan Paevey actually surfing. Ashley and Ryan didn't have the best chemistry but also not the worst I've seen either. Loved the male couple that Hannah and Josh met at the resort.

However, with so many grand resorts to choose from, I don't understand why Hallmark continues to film these movies at smaller, lower budget properties. Also, not everything has to have a supernatural element to it. Since Wonya Lucas came onboard, the network seems obsessed with catering to an audience they want rather than one they already have. I could have done without the haunted tour and the details of it.

Really enjoyed Two Tickets to Paradise! Wasn't sure how the energy would be between Ashley Williams and Ryan Paevey but they were a fun pair to watch.

Funny lines, great writing. Hallmark predictable but the story definitely went below the surface and pushed the characters to examine who and what they want from life.

Liked this movie best from the Summer Nights line up.

Bravo to Hallmark for pushing for inclusivity. This regular watcher wants to see everyone who exists in the world represented in my entertainment.

Hannah Holt (Ashley Williams) and Josh Wyatt (Ryan Paevey) are both dumped on their wedding days. They happen to meet soon after and are thrust together by coincidences time and again until they coincidentally find themselves staying at the same Hawaiian hotel. Having shared the same fate, they commiserate. The chemistry between these two is good, and individually the two characters are very likable.

Since this is a Hallmark romance, the eventual ending is no surprise, but the journey getting there is filled with spectacular Hawaiian scenery and lighthearted fun.

Watch for Kimee Balmilero who plays the part of the spunky hotel employee, Kailani, adding energy to her scenes and serving as an unofficial Hawaiian ambassador. The island of Oahu looks so inviting. Anyone for shave ice?

I had looked forward to this movie since the two leads are favorite actors. They are always good. I'm just not comfortable with the huge push on their gay theme. It's just not the old Hallmark anymore. I noticed a several "woke dialogue" spots that I didn't agree with. It didn't click all together.

As I sat down to watch the 2022 Hallmark movie "Two Tickets to Paradise", I have to admit that I was expecting the sap to be overflowing in an abundance. But still, I opted to sit down and watch what writers Tracy Andreen and Kevin Taft had to offer with this 2022 movie.

And I have to say that the writers definitely managed to put together a wholesome and enjoyable storyline. Sure, it was essentially following the classic blueprint of how to make a sappy romantic movie, but it worked. Oh yeah, it worked. It was partly the storyline that contributed to this, but most certainly also the cast and their performance.

"Two Tickets to Paradise" has Ashley Williams as the leading female and Ryan Paevey in the male leading role, both of whom are no strangers to sappy movies. And I mean that in a positive way, as they have been in other movies of this kind before, but they definitely manage to pull it off with ease and success. And they also did that in "Two Tickets to Paradise", no doubt about it.

Yeah, "Two Tickets to Paradise" is a movie that is oozing with sappy cheese. But I actually was genuinely entertained by this movie from director Dustin Rikert. And if you enjoy these Hallmark romantic movies, then you most certainly should take the time to sit down and watch "Two Tickets to Paradise".

My rating of "Two Tickets to Paradise" lands on a six out of ten stars.
