Love em Anyway!

Another great Bridgestone hit! When a young teenager chooses to take the blame for what someone else did you see love in action. Isn't that what Christ did for us? Great story but I am sot surprised. Bridgestone puts out the best!

Pretty bad

Poorly written, terribly acted. It seems like clumsy Christian propaganda, although it could just be the lack of skill and talent that make it seem more like an agenda than a movie.

The plot is improbable, with characters making completely inconsistent and inexplicable decisions. The production values and cinematography are quite good, though. Sets and costumes are also good.

Getting past the stilted, terrible acting was impossible for me, but to be fair, the writers gave the actors nothing to work with. The exception to that is the non-verbal acting by Trent Garnaat, who plays the subject child. He was reasonably credible. But again his spoken part didn't have much of a ring of authenticity to it.

I might not have found the proselytizing quite as jarring if I was a Christian, but there are well written and acted Christian movies out there that I have enjoyed. This just isn't one of them.

Poorly made

This is another poorly made Christian movie. I know this is a challenge for any family who want to take on Foster children. But I really would think that they would do some research and study what might be special needs children before they throw the entire family into a situation where a child from foster care who has lived in pretty poor situations his entire life and the caseworker doesn't seem to give them any information as to the special needs of this child. He's just thrown in and expected to swim along with the entire family in their own little worlds. These parents attempt to take on a foster child with what appears to be absolutely no training in early child education or any kind of trauma teaching. The entire family is in their own little worlds and just expects this child to sift in with them. Really pitiful situation.

Beautiful and Heart-wrenching

This story is one that is not only powerful but also projects a message that is so important. Everyone is special and deserves love regardless of background. This lesson goes beyond the concept of "No Child Left Behind", This is a lesson in giving of yourself, your time, your money, your love in order touch the life of another human being. This film will touch your heart and make you see that no-one is indeed: Beyond Acceptance.

Critique: The cinematography is beautiful with creative camera operation. The Sets and locations are stunning. The Acting is moderate with most of the characters presenting seemingly real situations. The moral and overall lessons are not to be missed. This is a great family film that will keep everyone enthralled.

Laughably bad

Warning: Spoilers
If you have ever thought about adopting a child or even fostering a child, please watch this movie. And then please make sure to do the exact opposite of the family in this movie. They decide to adopt a child out of the blue in order to replace a child that died (?), not sure, it's brought up early on but never revisited.

They choose the first child they see a picture of and don't really listen as the agent tries to explain all the issues this child has, the mom just knows she "has to have him."

The result is a family that never shows any patience with the child and never once tries to put themselves in his shoes. But after treating him horribly for the entire movie, they suddenly decide they love him overnight and end up adopting him. Such a heartwarming story that won't make you feel nauseated in any way.
