During principal photography, this film was titled "El Acantilado" (direct English translation: The Cliff)
Was incorrectly referred to in some articles and reviews as writer / director Roberto Busó-García's first feature-length film. This was actually Mr. Busó-García's second feature-length film - his first was Paging Emma (1999).
The concept of "the house that never forgets" was also an integral part of a screenplay co-written in 1994 by this film's writer / director, Roberto Busó-García. That screenplay was titled 'A este lado del olvido' ('This Side Of Oblivion'), and it was meant to be Mr. Busó-García's directorial debut. Actors Cordelia González, Jorge Luis Ramos, Rocky Venegas, Carola García, and Marcos Betancourt, among others, got to do a 'table read' of the screenplay (Ms. González, Mr. Ramos, and Mr. Venegas would have played the lead characters). The film's upcoming shoot was announced in Puerto Rican newspaper 'The San Juan Star' in April, 1995, and some of the actors were interviewed by Liza Lugo for a local news segment, but the project's financing never came together, and the film was never made.
