- Quarry: Let me just say I abhor unnecessary violence. But *this* is necessary.
- [Quarry uses his new weapon]
- Dr. Holiday: Prototypes. I prefer tried-and-tested. I don't even know what we're going to do with half of this stuff.
- Valve: That sounds like a challenge.
- Rex: Maybe it is... I'll race you for them. If I win, you hand over your entire stock pile.
- Valve: Shhh... Your answer... is on the wind.
- Rex: You're not right in the head, are you?
- Valve: When the wind commands, the impossible game must be gamed. The challenge is accepted. We will race for the superchargers. And when the Biker wins, it won't matter.
- Rex: Why's that?
- Valve: Because you'll be dead... Let the race begin.
- Quarry: Oh ho ho. You make me proud, Rex. You picked up some business sense after all. So I guess it's back to my cushy Providence cell.
- Rex: Oh, I'm not trading this
- [Rex holds up a recorder]
- Rex: I'm trading you.
- Quarry: [Quarry chuckles] Your sense of humor's coming along too.
- Rex: Think Breach. You can still save face with Van Kleiss. Quarry can take the heat for this whole mess.
