You know, women like her try it on because they think we're stupid

Three colleagues in forensic department were about to spend a night out to blow off some steam. Sick of waiting her friend all night long, two of them decided to pick up the third, only to realize she's stabbed dead in her flat. Detectives lead the investigation to her boyfriend and soon to be husband (Luke Roberts), because they used to argue a lot mostly due to his infidelity. Anyway, after another forensic employee is raped, they'd rather chase a black cab driver who could be involved in both felonies. As the episode goes by, we figure out there's a woman who take advantage of men for her personal purpose, with no regard for ethic or other people's feeling: a real piece of work. Even if she's not so stunning, a lot of men fell into her trap.

Casey is very naive in this episode: usually I saw his character as an unimpaired one. Even a dumb guy would realize the perp intended to set him up from the start.

a copy of American L&O episode

This episode is very similar in storyline to USA L&O (S20 E2) "Just a Girl in the World", where a female victim becomes cozy with one of the detectives. She uses her allure to con men to get money from them.
