Richard Keith's funny little film tells the tale of a young 20-something man, Andy, who's living the life of a toddler. He is forced to grow up when his girlfriend who had dumps him for being a baby. Well executed, cast and edited, 'Grow Up Already' is charming and entertaining as long as you're not asking too many questions. Actually, there's no point in asking any because it's a short film that ought to be enjoyed for what it is. At the same time, if the running time was longer, perhaps they could have added more funny growing up scenes. The cast is brilliant. Who else could play the part of Andy more convincingly today than Simmons? Annable is ravishing. Suplee is great as the sidekick. Jim O'Heir makes his presence felt but Frances Fisher completely owns her few scenes. Overall, this is a well-made feel-good little film about taking responsibilities.
