After Soul land, I found the donghua/anime that were created based on the same authors work. I.e. Swallowed star, throwing of seal, chef a fire and ice, and of course soul land 2. Two of them were pretty good, one was subpar, and then you have throne of seal. Which I for the most part I actually thought it was good, however, after the last few episodes I'm left very disappointed with the show. Personally speaking, I think soul land is one of the best Chinese anime out there.

With soul land, it's not just one person that is dominating the entire good side, it's a team effort when the was is so big. Yes, one person is stronger than the rest, but the others are not weak. In throne of seal, the human race just sent their strongest warriors into a closed space with the strongest warriors of the younger generation of demons; although while, expecting that the demons were going to fight "fair" ... I mean they've been in war with these people for a very long time, you would think they would understand that the demons are tricky strategist.

You would think the humans would have a contingency plan, ensuring the safety of their participants. Yet, They literally sent their strongest members to be killed, and only one person and his "lover" of course survives. Was what they gained worth losing all the other strong characters, doesn't that just mess up your war tactics... I hate when it's just like one person that is supposedly strong, and the rules are bent for that one person , it doesn't even make sense.

Honestly, I wanted to beat up the ferry that was asking for his help at the end, she literally saved him, his close friends and his lover, and one additional person. If you could teleport people why not teleport more of the humans so the stronger people are not dead. Why did the fairy not rescue more of the humans?
