- Dr. Rosen's alpha group is abducted by Nathan because he suspects one of them is a Red Flag conspirator.
- Open with an younger man showing up to meet with an older man. The older man is surprised to see him saying "you're not with the committee" and "you're one of them, aren't you." The older man says something about some mistakes never going away. The younger man grabs him in the chest, which seems almost to turn the older man to stone.
We see tactical teams taking Dr. Rosen (David Strathairn) and Gary (Ryan Cartwright) into custody, followed by Bill (Malik Yoba), then Hicks (Warren Christie), Nina (Laura Mennell) and Rachel (Azita Ghanizada).
All of them wake up in stark white individual holding cells designed to minimize their powers. Clay (Mahershala Ali) has brought them to Binghamton, telling Rosen they will stay there until he finds out "which one of you is the traitor."
Clay tells Rosen that Sullivan ordered them brought in. Clay says several scientists who were predecessors of Rosen's were killed the day before. They were killed using Alpha abilities. Each received a call from Rosen's office hours before they died. Clay thinks there is a mole in the team. Rosen believes he is being set-up by Red Flag.
Clay interviews the team with an Alpha named Eric (Tom Barnett) who specializes in body language analysis watching on hidden camera. He thinks Hicks is telling the truth when he says he had nothing to do with the men getting killed. He reads to Nina an unflattering report Rosen wrote about her. Gary is asked about his relationship with Anna. Clay asks Bill who he thinks is most likely to be a mole. A super-nervous Rachel tells Clay he might be turning friends into enemies. Clay decides they need to change the plan.
The team is placed in the same room. Clay tells them if they don't figure out amongst themselves who is the traitor they will all be sent to Building 7, where the "worst of the worst" are held.
Almost immediately the team starts to turn on themselves, with Bill mentioning the "calm guy" (in this case Hicks) is usually guilty. We learn Eric was a former patient of Rosen's who used his ability to win poker games. Rosen fakes a back problem and writes a secret message for Rachel to find out the door code. A medical team is brought to work on Rosen. The team is placed back in their cells.
The team manages to turn the tables on the guards and get loose. Clay calls for a lockdown. The team is able to move into the hallway and get past more guards. As they break through the exterior fence, a sniper has them in his crosshairs. Clay orders him to stand down, saying they'll adjust their plan.
Bill takes the team to a remote place used by gun-runners. Bill tells them they're not leaving until they figured out who called. It sounds like Hicks was the only one who didn't read up on the doctors who were killed. Gary wants to call Anna and ask her. Nobody is interested. Rosen says he knows who the traitor is.
Clay gets a call with information on their location.
Rosen says he hopes the traitor will confess just as Gary tells them Clay is nearby. Rosen says the only way he'll know the traitor is redeemable is if they confess. If not, he'll turn them over to Clay.
Clay arrives at the warehouse complex. They aren't sure which building and start a search.
Rosen says there have been secret deposits to Hicks' bank account totaling more than $300,000. Hicks makes a comment about them not understanding. The money was for his kid. Rosen says he never should have let Hicks on the team. He should have sent him to Binghamton a long time ago. Hicks punches Rosen.
This sets off Bill, who begins fighting Hicks as he claims he didn't do it. Rosen seems to have a pretty significant nose bleed. Just as Bill is about to club Hicks with a cinder block Clay's team bursts through the wall. Rosen tells Clay "it's Hicks". He needs to get Gary out of there. Rosen hustles Gary into a car.
Once Rosen and Gary leave, Rachel notices blood from Rosen is the wrong type -- he's an imposter.
Cut to the real Rosen waking up in a room someplace. On the walls are detailed pictures of his face. He pretends to be asleep when the man from the opening walks into the room. He puts his hands on Rosen in an attempt to kill him the way the older man in the opening was killed. Rosen stabs him with a needle and avoids the death.
Fake Rosen (Rafal Mickiewicz) is attempting to get Gary to erase all of the files. It seems like his disguise is breaking down. While Gary works on deleting the files, the real Rosen walks into the room: "Gary, step away from that man. He's not me."
The fake Rosen is an Alpha whose ability is to change his appearance. He starts to break his disguise. Gary realizes who the real Rosen is. Rosen wants to figure out what is in the files this man doesn't want him to see. He moves towards the computer.
The rest of the team arrives and grabs the shape-changer.
Rosen's not sure what was in the files he wanted to erase. Eric is going to be released soon. Clay wants him to occasionally work with Rosen. Rosen tells Clay he isn't happy with his methods. Clay tells him he should worry about Red Flag.
Hicks says the secret account is his kid's college fund. He gets the money from baseball card shows. We see something is wrong with Bill's heart. He drops to the ground as the episode ends.
