George Benham: [to Frannie, talking about Marguerite] Tomorrow she'll still be the same thorn in my side that she always is. And even if she's ill, I think it was de Sade who said "It's better to have a dead wife than an unfaithful one".
Featured review
A superb climax.
Frannie has her day in court, she very quickly realises that she doesn't stand a chance against the system.
Finally we get to learn the truth, we find out exactly what happened at that party, and exactly what happened the night of the murders.
This was definitely one of those wow tv moments, this final episode was tremendous, incredibly powerful, hard hitting and pretty shocking, this had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish.
Historically shows that end with a courtroom drama episode aren't always great, I'd argue this was exactly that.
I've been impressed by Karla-Simone Spence throughout this, in the first three episodes she was excellent, in this conclusion episode however, she takes if up another notch, she's captivating.
I'd watch this again, and I'd recommend it without a second thought.
10/10.
