The scene where Peter and Quagmire use the assembly line to fill the prescription bottles is a spoof of the famous "I Love Lucy (1951)" episode "Job Switching (1952)."
"Bayit" is a phonetic spelling of the Hebrew word for house. Also, "Burning Down the House" is a hit released by Talking Heads circa July 1983.
Closing cutaway gag about eating uncooked antelope and becoming emaciated feral beasts. About the time this episode was made the deer/elk epidemic of Chronic Wasting Disease had spread throughout the western states and made it east into New England. CWD is characterized by severe weight loss, physical clumsiness, and marked mental decline ( yes, you can spot brain damaged deer). It is a prion disease like mad cow and Creutzfeld-Jacob but it is uncertain if CWD can jump species to humans. Cooking the meat does not inactivate the prions.
Quagmire says, "I looked in a mirror this morning and it was like I was looking at a man I'd never seen before." The next scene shows him standing in front of the mirror with Scott Bakula, star of Quantum Leap (1989). The intro to every episode included the phrase, "Facing mirror images that were not his own...."
As Peter and Quagmire are discussing the items available in Mort's pharmacy, a crude Bart Simpson doll can be seen on a shelf behind Peter.
