The Los Angeles Lgbt Center has announced that talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, writer and producer Shonda Rhimes, artist Mark Bradford, MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell, and comedian Jermaine Fowler will join previously announced honorees Ariel Emanuel and Valerie Jarrett at the 48th Anniversary Gala Vanguard Awards brought to you by American Airlines on Saturday, Sept. 23, at The Beverly Hilton.
Bradford will present an award to Co-ceo of Wme | Img Ariel Emanuel, while presenter Rhimes will take the stage to honor Valerie Jarrett, former senior advisor for the Obama Administration. Kimmel will host the evening that includes special appearances by O’Donnell and Fowler.
“It’s a great honor to receive this award from the Los Angeles Lgbt Center, and not one I take lightly,” Emanuel said. “While this community has come a long way in a short time, there are still big obstacles to full equality—both here and across the country.

CBS has enlisted Mark Harmon and the rest of his NCIS team to help ensure that the military crime drama’s New Orleans-based spin-off completes its ratings mission. Harmon will make another appearance on NCIS: New Orleans, which launches this fall, and this time he’s bringing more of his crew. The formal announcement has been made for Brent Hartinger's Geography Club movie. It's going to star Cameron Deane Stewart, Justin Deeley, Andrew Caldwell, Allie Gonino, Meaghan Martin, Ally Maki and Nikki Blonsky. Geography Club tells the story of teens who feel like outcasts due to their sexual orientation, and the teacher who forms a club for them to meet without suspicion. I'm going to try and talk to Brent in the coming days about the film, and will keep you updated.

Now I don't doubt that someone will try and organize a boycott against Kraft for this, but it hadn't happened when ABC ran with the story. CBS Syndication has signed a deal to bring Arsenio Hall back to late night television, starting in fall 2013. The show has already been cleared in 52% of the markets including Tribune stations in all major markets.
This is billed as the Ultimate Collection of Gay One Direction GIFs, but I know at least on shipper that scoffed at how many there were. I have no clue if even one of the guys is gay, but they are ridiculously affectionate with each other, and the repeated reach back...
