Seeing the parallels between Lucy & Stephen's family dynamics was interesting. Now that we know more about their backgrounds, I understand why they're such horrible people. I'm glad Max went off on Lucy. She's taking full advantage of him & he doesn't deserve it. I get that she's young, but her lack of communication is infuriating. I hope she has more character growth in the next episode especially after how that last scene unfolded. I was invested in what Macy was going to tell Lucy in the first episode & now the truth is coming out. Stephen is such a sleezeball & I know he'll somehow "redeem" himself since he's so charismatic with the ladies. I hope Lucy punched him in the face.

I am enjoying the series so far, but this seemed like a filler episode. We learn more about the family dynamics of Lucy and Stephen, but probably didn't need an entire episode for this which is my primary complaint of this series. It is moving at a snails pace. We are half way through the season and it feels like we haven't covered much ground. They aren't even an official couple yet.
This was obviously conceived as a story unfolding over several seasons so it will take a loooong time to bring us up to present. Will keep watching for now but not sure I am going to be willing to stick it out if they are planning on stretching this out for several years.
