Mr. Wolf Ribb is an irascible old man who will not employ married men in his firm, although his secretary is secretly married to the typist. Coming in unexpectedly one morning, he finds them in close conversation-too close to please him, as he has had his eye on the pretty typist for a long time. He decides to get rid of the secretary, and makes him manager of his branch establishment, with permission to marry. Making the excuse that he has been called away, he departs with the typist to the White City, but finds, on arriving at the gates, that he has lost his tickets of admission. These are found by his wife, who decides to take the secretary with her. They all meet in mid-air as the arms of the "flip-flap" come together, and the remaining scenes must be seen to be enjoyed.
