Another TVF hit
sameerlodaya8 July 2022
Sameer lodaya.

Again a hit form the TVF group

What a content to watch and how simply they have glorified the power of illiterate women entrepreneurs..the direction is as strong as ASPIRANTS by apoorv he is master of contents..the struggle shown for the women left aside and how she comes back is really encouraging

The chemistries between saas and bahu ,step mother and children, business partners is simply outstanding..the core part is the EMOTIONS of every single scene along with Soft soothing background music and expressions is so soothing that it will give you goosebumps

The women Yamini Amruta and anjana have acted out of the world and carried all the 6 episodes strongly..they will set an example for A grade actress

Little slow and the content gets dragged in between as young viewers will feel bored that had to be addressed as TVF major followers are the young's.

A Relatable Bitter-Sweet Journey of a Middle Class Women from the House of TVF !!!
cs_rahul_prasad9 July 2022
Created by Arunabh Kumar and Apoorv Singh Karki, 'Saas Bahu Achaar Pvt. Ltd.' offers a perfect glimpse into the life story of an ordinary middle class woman who is not educated enough and is groomed to "serve" the charming man who will take care of all of her needs after marriage. Her life is turned upside down when her husband, her primary supporter, abandons her and leaves her to fend for herself. For a homemaker whose life used to revolve around her family, it is difficult to get life back on track after her divorce.

Set in the backdrop of Daryaganj and other locales of Old Delhi, this 6 Episode series follows Suman and her hardships as she embarks on an ambitious journey to become an entrepreneur in order to provide a good life to her children-daughter Juhi and son Rishu, who are currently living with their father. She is uneducated and lacks confidence, so this will not be an easy road for her. But, no matter the challenges Suman faces, she remains strong and overcomes them all.

The writers (Abhishek Srivastava, Akansh Gaur, Arunabh Kumar) beautifully crafted the story around the protagonist and her struggles especially when she has to rebuild her life from scratch. She only has her mother-in-law and the neighbour Shukla Ji for support; who believes she is naïve but still capable of accomplishing something worthwhile in life. While later episodes are well-written, the first few take a while to make sense of everything.

The screenplay by Abhishek Srivastava, Swarnadeep Biswas and Manan Madaan immerses you directly into Suman's world and her life challenges. Her day-to-day experience will easily resonate with audiences while also being encouraging. Although there are times when the pace slows down, still it never drags or becomes boring. The narrative is divided into two parts that cover Suman and Dilip's past, present, and evolving relationship dynamics. The ease with which the drama portrays the bittersweet relationship between the characters is fantastic.

The close-ups shots of mango pickles being prepared and people tasting them appear enticing. Arjun Kukreti's DOP beautifully captured the locales of old Delhi. The streets, people's generosity, and other minor details are well-presented. Delhiwalas will instantly connect with the dialogue and settings. The BGM by Nilotpal Bora heightens the drama's impact.

As the title suggests, the show is about the "Saas," who is expertly portrayed by Yamini Das. She embraces the role wholeheartedly. In fact, she has the best dialogue in the show and elevates it with her energy and enthusiasm. Then there's the "Bahu" played outstandingly by Amruta Subhash. She brings to life her character's ongoing struggles to establish an achaar business. Her kids are her world, yet she must part with them while she waits for her business to succeed. And their "Aachar" business, where these saas-bahu are each other's strongest supporters. Suman even gets help from her friendly neighbour Shukla Ji, who devises business strategies for her.

Anup Soni is convincing as Dilip, the self-centered man. As Juhi and Rishu's stepmother and Vivaan's mother, Anjana Sukhani's character is loving and caring. She has her own story, even after years of struggling with family acceptance. Manu Bisht, Nikhil Chawla, and Shreyansh Kaurav all win hearts with their innocent acts.

All said, the motto of 'Saas Bahu Achaar Pvt Ltd' is "as long as you're still alive, you always have the chance to start again." Although there are parts in the show when emotions run high, they are never overbearing. Instead, it has shaped up as an inspiring story of an ordinary woman who goes above and beyond her limitations for her family.

Another masterpiece of story telling from TVF
ravish913 July 2022
The story is predictable but despite of that you stay hooked...that is the power of narration, writing, direction and screenplay. Almost every department is top notch.

Cinematography is brilliant. Dialogues are deep. Music is weak.

On acting department, people may sympathesize with Suman but show stealers are the characters of Daadi, Shuklaji, and daughter of Suman. I am first time seeing the actress who played Daadi and the actor Shuklaji. They are revelations...ab tak aese actors kahan chipe the bhai? Just watch the body laguage of Shukla ji a struggling street side sales man who sells belt but truly wants to be seen as a professional salesman. Daadi..so chilled and morale bosting saas which every lady would want to have. Both these characters bring hope in the otherwise struggling life of Suman. Rest of the actors too have done great job.

It is just surprising for me how TVF is delivery one after another show which immediately goes deep in your heart. I really fail to understand why bollywood like big industry is failing to achieve even 10 percent of what TVF is achieving today in the world of entertainment. Highly recommended as a pure family how.

TVF is getting stronger day by day with its content writing
pal-gandharv23 July 2022
Saas Bahu and Achaar Pvt Ltd - 7.1/10

A good story of a middle class family in Old Delhi. Quite relatable for the lower middle class like me but lacked the pace. TVF is going deep very deep into intricacies with creative writing. Dialogues are average but the storyline is beautiful and the screenplay is slow. TVF can revive Hindi cinema. It can easily beat even the South Indian cinema. All it needs is a backup and big budgets. These IITians have made their mark in entertainment for certain. It is a slow burner series. A girl preparing for IIT was a charm for me to watch it. The lead role acted very well.

Saas bahu achaar pvt ltd-season 1
puranjanbasak13 July 2022
Saas bahu achaar pvt ltd is a drama show directed by apoorv singh karki.

Amruta subhash has given an outstanding performance. Her innocence, her straight forward nature, everything looks genuine. She is an illeterate woman but she knows the worldy deals. Yamini das too shines in this show. Specially her sequences with suman are gold. She displays such exuberance and warmth with her acting that its wholesome. Anjana sukhani and anoop soni also shine in their limited screentime. Among the kids, manu bisht does a great job. The supporting cast including anandeshwar dwivedi is fabulous.

The writing is brilliant. The character of suman is beautifully written. She makes us feel awkward in her first time selling experience. Also she makes us feel angry when the shopowner denies from his promise. Also i liked how the character of manisha is written. She has not been made evil. She is a mature stepmother and that too s good one. She understands the hardships everyone is going through in their respective lives. These all are evidences of brilliant writing that you root for the characters. One of the main highlights is the dialogues section. Extremely thoughtful and wonderful dialogues. There are so many sequences where you can literally relate your life with the characters. Thats what TVF is, our happy home.

Cienamatography is good. There is one shot in the closing sequences where suman and dileep are sitting across each other and the shot is taken with a window pane between them reflecting how they have grown apart after all the things that has happened in ther lives. Music is its strongest. Nilotpal bora and his music in TVF is of international quality to be honest. Such beautiful music, such thoughtful lyrics, its wonderful to listen. The bgm is pretty good too.

This is a must watch for all the content lovers. I rate it 10 out of 10.

The writing is not that great. Cheating to build a company? Asking maids to spoil the pickles at their owners home? Common man! Expect a lot more from TVF.

TVF hit it out of the park once again!
SoumikBanerjee199613 July 2022
No other production houses know the pulse of the audience, as good as TVF does! The kind of relevancy, the kind of relatability they almost always bring into their contents is unparalleled, matched by none of the contemporaries. Take any of their works for an example, be it Kota Factory, Sonyliv's Gullak, or Amazon Prime's Panchayat; there are so many nuances to be found and cherished by us, the middle-class households.

"Saas Bahu Achaar Pvt. Ltd." Is another fruitful addition to an already impressive catalog.

It would make you cry, it would make you laugh; it would take you on a whole roller-coaster ride of strong emotions. The underneath notions are pretty delicate, and quite tricky to handle though yet they somehow found a way to maintain a certain balance between the sensitivity of the subject and the overall groundedness of the narrative. Enormously aided by a melodious and heartwarming composition, some great dialogue writing, and a handful of incredible performances.

Amruta Subhas is just phenomenal in her role, the way she conveys her feelings of despair, desperation, or her inner will to do something meaningful, and noteworthy, demands a wordy paragraph of gratitude & appreciation. Yamini Das as the 'Dadi' is another prominent highlight of the series! Oh! I would do anything to have a Grandma like her.

A must watch!
mayankshukla140410 July 2022
The viral fever has come up with a brilliant show Saas Bahu Aachar Pvt Ltd on Zee5. It is not your regular saas-bahu drama. It's a heartwarming story of a woman who rises against all the odds and becomes an entrepreneur with her 'saas' being her biggest cheerleader. Her struggles are brought to life by Amruta Subhash's beautiful performance. Another actor to look out for is Anjana Sukhani. Anup Soni & Yamini Das are excellent playing Amrita's ex husband and mother in law respectively. The show has some love dialogues and background score. Binge watch this one with your entire family.

An inspiring journey made even more beautiful by Amruta Subhash's spirited performance !
Perspicuity113 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
WHAT'S GOOD:

1. The best thing about this story was the bonding between the Saas, played by Yamini Das, and Bahu played by Amruta Subhash. Instead of conspiring against the other, as shown in the television shows, they were behaving like a mother and daughter. The banter shared by the two was so spontaneous and real yet felt so unreal because we are not used to watching it in a series.

2. Amruta Subhash is a phenomenal talent, who has been consistently performing brilliantly in the supporting roles that have come her way. Finally she gets to play the main lead, and leaves you spellbound with a scintillating performance. I am really glad TVF and Amruta found each other. The character of Suman goes through a roller-coaster of emotions as she tries to stand up on her feet and make sense of her life post separation from her husband, and Amruta Subhash has conveyed all of them beautifully. The thing with good actors and actresses is that they don't play some character, they become that character, and that's exactly what Amruta Subhash has done in this show.

3. Yamini Das deserves a standing ovation for her performance in this show, what an absolute gem of an actress she is! I was super impressed by her performance in the movie 'Sui Dhaaga', which also had a start-up plot at its core, and once again in Saas Bahu Achaar she has delivered an outstanding performance. The scene in the bus, where Yamini Das helps her daughter-in-law is so brilliantly written and acted, you feel like applauding for the veteran actress. It's so amazing to see Yamini Das do so well at this age, I really hope this inspires writers to write more roles for senior actors and actresses, because they may have got old but their acting prowess is shining brighter than ever.

4. The writing of Abhishek Shrivastava and Swarnadeep Biswas deserves credit for getting most things correct in showing the life of an uneducated woman stepping into the world of entrepreneurship and keeping things grounded. The journey of Suman has been shown as uneven, filled with multiple roadblocks; in other words, it's a realistic depiction.

5. Anandeshwar Dwivedi has been with TVF for many years now and we know him mostly for his over the top and comic roles, but with this show he has proved that he is much more than that. As Suman's right hand man, Shukla, Anandeshwar has delivered a beautiful performance that is understated as well as drenched in realism.

6. Manu Bisht as Juhi, the daughter of Suman, has delivered a very impressive performance as well. Considering the fact that this was her first major acting assignment, it speaks a lot about the acting potential she possesses.

7. Music by Nilotpal Bora is quite good. Songs such as Koshishein and Boondo Ka Jharna are extremely melodious.

WHAT'S NOT SO GOOD:

1. There were some great scenes initially showing the banter between Saas and Bahu, when they are planning how Suman should kick start her entrepreneurial journey, but later on we don't get to see any more Saas Bahu scenes. Shuklaji becomes Suman's partner and Saas takes a backseat. The best part of this show was the chemistry shared between Yamini Das and Amruta Subhash, I really wish there was more of it in the show.

2. The show made Dilip, played by Anup Soni, a villain but we never get to see his perspective. The writers have made a point not to follow the usual tropes, Suman and her mother-in-law don't hate each other, the step mother, played by Anjana Sukhani, is not an evil woman, in fact she is quite friendly with the children; so why make the husband into a villain with no redeeming qualities? Dilip remained an underdeveloped character throughout the series, almost a silent character who is at the receiving end of everyone's anger.

3. The way Suman was promoting her Pickles was slightly problematic. She saw an open door, went inside and fed the kid with her Pickle (Achaar). I don't think you would want a stranger feeding something to your child without your permission; what if it was a sedative or poison? When Suman asks people to taste her Pickles, she does not use a spoon to take it out, everyone uses their hands to pick out a Pickle from the packet; that was quite an unhygienic way of doing it.

4. The show is most exciting when Shukla Ji, Suman and her mother-in-law go around the city with the hope of finding an investor for their business, but it drops pace every time the family drama takes centrestage. Pacing is definitely an issue with the series, it's not always an engaging watch.

This is another feel good story of an underdog, but still quite different from the kind of shows TVF is known for, so I suspect it won't attract that many viewers, but nevertheless it's a very well made show, and people should give it a try. Don't let the trailer dissuade you from watching the show, it may look like a regular television drama serial, and perhaps it is, but not of this era; production of these kind of shows stopped in the early nineties, when the golden era of Doordarshan came to an end.

Sad to see a weak product
I am very sad to see this weak show from TvF. What viewers can do when tvf has themselves set the bar so so high .

TvF is master of hitting the emotion at right place but that core thing was missing .

Below fell short and I ended giving 5 rating

Writing Editing Background score.
