Best NBA-2K game in every way except for my player mode.

Warning: Spoilers
NBA-2K12 is very different from other NBA-2K games in a lot of ways, also better in a lot of ways.

One part of this game that is better than other games is that the graphics are a little better. It is a little harder than the previous game, NBA-2K11. But that personally made it more fun for me to play a regular game, especially when you play a multi-player game. I also like the association mode/season mode a little better than NBA-2K11. One reason for that is because you can now newly have a fantasy draft, which is when all the teams are reset and you make a new draft out of all the players. Even if they are already on teams, you can pick them. That also makes all the teams have a new overall, so really good teams like, for example, the Heat, Thunder, and Bulls, can be the worst teams in the league.

You are able to just have a regular, simple, one-on-one match, or you can have a team match with other real people. There are a lot of very good features included in this game.

This is definitely a great game, and one of the better basketball games.

You should definitely get it.

I give this game a 7.6 out of 10 overall rating.

Honestly just as great as 2k11

Now not saying 12 is better than 11 but it's up there. Im giving it a 9. I believe that is was a very underrated installment. It came out during the NBA lockout so it was kinda a screwy release. There was no rookies at the beginning. But people have to look back and realize that they took upon NBA 2k11 and they added to it. More features, more teams and I'm curious what the idea actually was and did we know that 12 was better than 11 before the nostalgic hit. But 12 is still useable. I can't even imagine how lucky y'all were to have a had PC back then to enhance on what was already a great consul release.

Best Basketball Game I've Ever Played
zkonedog13 March 2017
The last time I watched an entire professional basketball game was during the Michael Jordan, Reggie Miller, Malone/Stockton era. The last time I owned a basketball video game was NBA Jam for my Super Nintendo. Simply put, I'm just a baseball/football guy. Last week, however, my brother brought home this game and wanted to play a few games. I obliged, and quite surprisingly was sucked in from the opening tip-off of that first game.

Though I can't comment on the "frills" of this game (career mode, practice, etc.) as I will never use them, I have now played dozens of exhibitions against friends and have immensely enjoyed the experience. The biggest reason? The control scheme is very well designed (the key structure of any successful sports video game franchise). The controls are simple enough for beginners, yet "deep" enough for the seasoned vet to perfect his/her game.

Thus, I was pleasantly surprised by this game and foresee more hours of fun with it in the future. Wheres 2K Sports have fallen way behind the curve in their baseball franchise, they are the "industry leader" in this NBA fare and I hope they continue into the future. Even if you aren't a "baller" you can still have fun with this one.
