Warning: Spoilers
Dour and awkward recluse Tony (superbly played with understated conviction by Peter Ferdinando) lives by himself in a shabby London flat. Friendless and socially maladroit, Tony picks up strangers and brings them back to his flat so he can kill them.

Writer/director Gerald Johnson not only offers a starkly compelling portrait of a troubled soul who's driven dangerously over the edge by a combination of loneliness, alienation, and social ineptitude, but also makes excellent and evocative use of rundown urban locations. While Fernando clearly dominates the proceedings with his ace portrayal of a frighteningly coldblooded killer (the scene in which Tony puts talcum powder on his face and masturbates prior to killing someone is deeply unsettling), he nonetheless receives fine support from Francis Pope as abrasive junkie Smudger and George Russo as Smudger's more easygoing buddy Mackey. The moody score by The The and the lively hand-held cinematography provide an extra exciting kinetic buzz. Well worth a watch.
