Husky visits home after being away at school. While going through an old childhood box of his belongings Husky finds an original "Game Genie" video game cartridge. After attempting to clean it a giant red man appears, it is the real life incarnation of the Game Genie. The Game Genie grants Husky one video game-related wish, which Husky chooses as having the ability to quick save his life and go back in time. With his new found power Husky does what any male would do, and goes to a party to attempt to pick up girls. After many attempts Husky finally gets the right pickup line and takes the girl home. While walking home Husky gets hit by a car right before quick saving and is forever stuck in a loop of getting run over.

Some time between getting his new power and going to the party, Husky is seen dropping the Game Genie cartridge on his front lawn. Two unsuspecting people passing by (Davis and Odom) find the Game Genie and release him once again. Being granted a wish, they decide to have the ability to unlock achievements throughout their daily lives. While highly entertaining at first, the achievements quickly begin to be the focus of their lives. One night, while pulling an all nighter for a 'long distance' driving achievement, Davis nearly falls asleep at the wheel. His lack of focus causes him to run over Husky. A police officer spots the crime and pulls Davis and Odom over. Wanting to get a crime related achievement, Odom attempts to engage the Police officer with a gun, but instead trips and accidentally kills himself with his own weapon. Davis is seen locked up behind bars, with his cell mate being someone who oddly resembles the Game Genie.

Some time shortly before Odom and Davis are pulled over from Episode 2, they accidentally throw the Game Genie cartridge out the window while trying to summon the Game Genie to get out of the mess they're in. Unable to stop and retrieve the cartridge, a new passer-by finds it lying on the ground. Dodger, after remembering the cartridge from her child hood, makes the same mistake as all the other previous characters, and summons the Game Genie. The Game Genie grants Dodgers wish, to be able to use all of Mega Mans powers. Dodger imagines all the good she can do which includes saving burning houses, fixing her own housing problems, and even cooking her own dinner. She first decides to visit her recent ex-boyfriend in prison who happens to be Davis. Dodger, having emotionally committed to the relationship much more than Davis, begins to become irrational. She is there for one thing, and gets her revenge by lighting his prison uniform on fire. While returning to her car, Dodger finds it difficult to start her car with her new, fingerless, Megaman Arm. Attempting to disable the arm, Dodger accidentally presses the wrong button which makes the device explode. The Game Genie is seen flying off screen as Dodger is also presumed dead.

Shortly after Dodger is seen exploding, Layne finds the Game Genie cartridge laying outside the wreckage. Attempting to clean the cartridge, Layne also summons the Game Genie. Layne decides to pick the 'Level Select' wish. Attempting to test his new power, Layne teleports himself to the old Wild West. Immediately upon arriving in the Wild West, Layne meets a local gunslinger who also oddly resembles the Game Genie. They quickly face off in a shoot out in which Layne does not actually have a working gun. Before he is shot Layne teleports himself to ancient Greece. Off to a much better start in ancient Greece, Layne finds himself being treated to by two attractive women. Just as Layne is getting settled in, a large angry man (once again resembling the Game Genie), appears, clearly very angry and threatens Layne. Attempting to teleport himself to a different time again, Layne accidentally spills his wine mid sentence and says "Awwww Hell...", which in turn teleports him to Hell.

Right before Husky is run over, Layne uses his level select power to get himself out of Hell and to save him. Having pushed Husky out of the way, Davis and Odom do not run over him, but recognize him as they pass and quickly pull over. Husky, having almost been run over, tries to make sense of what is happening. Upon realizing that their problems are revolving around the Game Genie they try to figure out a way to end it. Dodger, having not made her wish in the time line yet, takes the Game Genie and blows into it before anyone can stop her. This summons the Game Genie in front of everyone. When asked why he is trying to kill everyone, the Game Genie reveals that he wanted to rid the world of all the 'cheaters' he had created in the past. As a showing of his power, the Game Genie kills Husky's new girl with a fireball. Dodger quickly wishes for an epic final battle, which teleports everyone to a video-game style final boss battle. The final battle is not going very well so Husky quick saves right before the entire group is destroyed by the Game Genie. After the Game Genie hits everyone with a laser, Husky quick loads to start the battle again. In the second attempt, Davis notices a potential weakness in the Game Genie's power: his actual cartridge. Wanting to give it a shot, all 5 members work together to make an epic attack on the cartridge. Summoning enough power between the five of them, the cartridge is destroyed along with the Game Genie. Having destroyed their nemesis, the group is teleported back to the real world. As they walk off and the screen fades to black, a voice is heard saying "Oh whats this? A Game Genie..."
