Retired singers are invited to pay tribute to bolero music as well as themselves in a gala concert. They are enthusiastic to perform again in the most important theater in the city but a growing fear invades them. They are afraid to realize audience have forgotten and having to face a devastating empty theater. Against the odds, the concert is sold out and each one perform as in the old days, amid cheers. THE LAST BOLERO is the tale of a group of old stars singers who love bolero music. They are fighting against what usually happens to older artists in Mexico, oblivion.
