'Huntington's chorea' is a degenerative neurological disorder eventually resulting in death. It was formerly referred to as 'hereditary chorea' and 'chronic progressive chorea.' One obvious symptom is involuntary jerky movements. The term 'chorea' is from the Greek meaning 'dance.' Today it is known more widely as 'Huntington's disease.' Famed singer Woody Guthrie suffered from this relatively rare disorder.
The final episode produced by CityTV before the producers moved to CBC.
When trying to explain everything, Dr. Harms says that Dr. Rogers is his stepbrother, and they watched their father die from Huntington's Chorea. If they have the same father, they're half brothers, not stepbrothers.
This episode takes place from December 26, 1899 to January 1, 1900.
