Based on a play with the same name, also written by Ilpo Tuomarila. Produced by the Pori Theatre, directed by Seppo Maaniittu with actors Timo Nissi, Veikko Hirviniemi and Matti Mäntylä, it premiered at the Tampere Theatre Festival, Finland in August 19, 1983.
The story is inspired by a real train wreck in the Kokemäki railway line, Finland during the 1950s. The parts of the cargo, also consisting of hundreds of bottles of alcohol, spread over the tracks. Some locals began to hide the collected bottles.
