You have to look past the idea of why Emma and Noah would do this and just sit back and enjoy the show. Because it is a fun and wild ride when you look past the obvious logic issues associated with the series and the behavior of the characters.
I am more interested in the present timeline than the past one though. Skylar Gisondo is a good actor based on his roles in Santa Clarita Diet and The Righteous Gemstones but he is not working fully in this role.
I do like the progression of this show though. Not taking the most obvious developments from point a to b to c, which is nice.
I won't call The Resort great yet, but I do like it and plan to finish it. Good enough for a summer escape series, coincidentally what the characters on the show are doing.
