Call it insanity or inanity. But call it done.

After 6 brilliant seasons (and 7 more with the good wife) the Kings have dropped the mic and let all the crazy genius out. This show has spoken brilliantly about the insane direction this country has been moving and often put into poetic words the emotions I didn't know I was feeling. How will I live without Diane Lockhart? This final season, The End of... has been building with some insane plots, characters and inane perspectives and it has been building to a big finish. This episode goes a little off the rails with the plot, deepening the liberal fantasies that have driven this shows story lines for years, but we're set up for the big finish. I will miss this show and the brilliant writing and acting that has entertained and educated me for years.

Warning: Spoilers
It is always interesting to see the show tackle politics as aggressively as they do because it exposes mainstream viewpoints of Republicans. Other than threatening top officials by exposing their intel on Chumhum, none of this plan would have worked. If Fox News even started to shift a little bit, people would flock off, so the DNC Chair was right in that regard.

I also do not think Dwayne Johnson can win in today's climate. The far left would attack him for not embracing Medicare for All and I don't think he has as much crossover appeal as Robert believes he does. A top Republican would beat him head to head.

Solid as a Rock

Warning: Spoilers
It's a shame the Rock didn't really make an appearance in this penultimate episode of one of the most provocative series in this contemporary age. I never watched The Good Wife, but I've watched every episode of The Good Fight to date. The first four seasons were more than worthy, but the final two seasons are like an appendix, easily disposable. The Mandy Patinkin courtroom subplot was just way out there.

Anyway, the reference to Uber at the end by Diane's husband was one for the ages, and kind of taps into his frustration at Diane's arrogance really.

What will happen in the next episode, we shall see. One thing for sure, we know it was screened right after the congressional mid-term results.
