- TriviaThe railway bridge featured is Bridego Bridge near Mentmore, Hertfordshire, is the scene of The Great Train Robbery on 08 August 1963. The bridge has featured in several films and documentaries about the crime.
- GoofsIn early episodes, it is obviously the height of summer with people walking around London in t shirts and shorts but, by s1e6 in particular, they can't decide whether it is autumn or winter. In some scenes the trees are turning from green to brown but in the scenes where the released prisoners are followed there are no leaves on the trees at all. The story is supposed to be based on the duration of an 8 hour flight but looks as though it was filmed over 6 months.
- Quotes
Devlin: Don't pretend you don't know, Felix. You know perfectly well what it's called because you're the man behind it. And you only gave him that story after you'd made a good chunk of money for yourself first. That's insider trading, Felix. You are corrupt. Why else do you think I'd call you? It's eleven thirty-five. The market finds out about this in the next thirty minutes ... or the world finds out about you. Yes? ... Cheer up, Felix, this is what's known as a scoop.

PEAK TELEVISION
The writing for this episode and especially that ENDING is better than anything to come out in a long time. Giving shades of peak Prison Break, Breaking Bad, etc. After starting a little slow Hijack really stepped up the stakes in the penultimate episode.
Haven't watched a true cliffhanger ending like that in some time as most shows now are too predictable but Hijack has thoroughly kept me on my toes week to week.
Idris Elba continue to shine through masterminding a strategy for the passengers while now contracting the working of politics and finance happening on the ground such an interesting parallel.
