I absolutely love Southern France and Spain and getting to see so many amazing renovated old villa's/chateaux/cottages is a treat! I think Amanda has great taste, she is somewhere in the middle. Sam likes the extreme which has its pro's and con's but in a good way. Expect the unexpected with his choices. The little comedic pokes him and Amanda do to each other add some humor to the show.
JB on the other hand, except for the first episode, tends to down rate others for no apparent reason, especially if he is in the lead. Even when he says he cant find fault. He often scores them a 7 when IMO they are a 9 or 10 and definately beats his. An example, he shows a 1 bedroom pricey apartment that has all shared outdoor space and pool, then says there is only ever 8 people sharing. Then Amanda show a fabulous house with several bedrooms, reasonably priced, a tall hedged very private huge backyard and infinity pool and JB says there is no fault with it, but when scoring says there is lack of privacy??? Eight foot hedges surrounding a very large private pool and garden area verses 8 people sharing your pool? Which one has zero privacy??
It is clear that Amanda and Sam are scoring honestly, even giving themselves lower scores, sometimes taking the win away from themselves, but IMO JB is not being honest and just scores competitively and strategically.
The hypocrisy is when he finds fault in another's property so he can score low for them when his own property is exactly what he claims and yet he scored himself high. Thats not honesty and its not what I want to see.
