Sally-Anne, who is introduced as Logan Roy's former mistress, is played by Nicole Ansari-Cox who is Brian Cox's real-life wife.
The suit Roman Roy wears to his father's funeral proved to be a popular object of discussion after the episode aired. Roman usually wears very tight, well-fitted shirts and coats that show off his physique; he does not for the funeral. Murray Clark pointed out in GQ that "Roman's jacket, though fitted, and immaculate, both strangles and drowns him all at once." His shirt is ill-fitted, and his tied is "miles away from touching its proper base on the belt-line." Clark described the overall look as "strangely infantilising" and "not for serious people," echoing Logan's comment to his children in Rehearsal (2023).
Nicole Ansari-Cox had previously been on the set of Succession to shadow Mark Mylod (Ansari Cox is a talented director in her own right), and the two ultimately agreed that she would be right for the part of Sally Ann.
