This episode has some good stuff in it but it's rather frustrating in places as well.Having Sophie not blame Kate for Noah's feelings is a nice touch but the fact Kate is keeping things from her suggests it's not going to be as simple as that. And it's pretty galling to watch Paul prematurely crowing over his apparent victory.
Malcolm and Jade are actually very easy to sympathise with here, even though what they're doing is wrong and they're clearly pretty messed up. Susan and Sonya commenting on them while they're hiding in the bedroom is a bit of a strange plot device, although not as contrived as their passion causing Jade to knock Rhys' message down.
