Wow, this show was beautiful. I know why people don't like this show, but I don't understand that. This show explores a lot of different themes that are handled extremely well and properly. With that being said, the first season wasn't THAT great, especially its finale. This episode explores the show's main villain, Chris Hawken, who is an evil sadistic psychopath who's been infected with a virus and now intends on ending the world before he dies.
The third episode explored Chris very well with the telling of who he is and the brutality of him betraying Juna, but this episode slowed him down. We get his backstory, and the first 10 minutes showing that was great. And then it fell off. Bad.
It turned into this overly-reflective nonsense that ruined the episode for me. It doesn't ruin the season, characters, or show in any way, but this episode lost its footing and. Was just plain boring.
