Bodyguard is a fast-paced action drama with good performances and realistic action scenes expected from South Korean films. Seok-Chul Kang and Ye-Bin Yoo's performance is the highlight of the film. The antagonist track and performances were good. Cinematography and editing were decent and story is actually routine and wafer thin, but the action scenes were realistic and tension in the action scenes were present, which makes it one-time watch for the viewers. South Korean films are also good in comedy scenes, but some of comedy scenes didn't work in the film. Director Seung-Hyeon Son has done a decent job and the script was decent with runtime being short.
