Pretty watchable piece of short twisted trash
Humdinger6921 June 2014
The "plot" of Rémy Couture's short film Inner Depravity Vol. 1 simply shows a masked man brutalizing, raping, killing and mutilating women, not always in that order. Well, that's about as deep as it goes plot-wise. The film's sole purpose is simply to show sick, twisted images of necrophilia, gory torture and mutilated female corpses for ten minutes. All of this is set to a pounding industrial/metal soundtrack which is very pleasing to the ears.

The images of dead, mutilated female corpses that flash on screen throughout are very graphic and very nasty, though they go by pretty quick (some don't even say on screen for half a second). The scenes that actually show the killer "in action", are only moderately graphic. Either way, the movie shows off some nice gore effects.

Also, the killer snorts some drugs, the words "God" and "Disabled" randomly flash on screen, and there's a statement about how "mankind has become a master in the art of cruelty", but I'm not about to defend this movie as any sort of social commentary.

Either way, I'm kind of ashamed to say I enjoyed this one in a sick, twisted sort of way. The faint of heart, weak of stomach, or people who like their movie's to have a plot should stay far, far away. However, if you are a gore hound or other form of twisted folk, you should get some enjoyment out of it.

Definitely thinking about it.

Me and my two friends just find out about this story in the news of this guy doing makeups and directing/acting in "obscene" movies . The guy did a movie, 10 minutes long, named "Inner depravaty" and he's being charge for "corrupting morals" in Canada. So we've decided to watch it and this is the story:

First, you see scenes form a serial rapist-killer (not necessarily it that order. Watch out, it is not for the sensitive ones) who's committing these lasvicious and manical murders. While on severe drug rush, he commits lewd crimes on two credible victims, famous actresses here in Canada. We have to admit there's a good variety of rape/murder techniques that makes the movie entertaining from the beginning to the end. Society thinks this is going to far and is deeply judging this king of creativity. Why only them could judge what is moral or not.

Our societies should evolve

As Richard Martineau said in his TV show interviewing the producer/actor "The real people understand him, this is a surrealistic situation". "There was no urge to call interpol in that situation, this is overreacting"

I strongly recommend you not to told anyone you've watched this unique piece of 7th art, because people could judge you very harshly. And to this watch it only when the kids aren't around.
