- Tano Cariddi forms an alliance with the Linori family.
- Tano Cariddi's escape was managed by Giovanni Linori. He hides Tano in his palace. He also forces his son Andrea to go back to the US, because he knows that he will be in danger as well. On the departure day they get into an ambush, where Giovanni Linori is killed. Andrea, who recognizes that his father had dealt with the Mafia in the past, asks for revenge. Tano, who pursue his own aims, agrees to help him to destroy Annibale Corvo the murderer of his father and brother. Corvo, who is one of the members of the supreme counsel of the Mafia, meets Espinosa, the mastermind behind the plan to use the money of the infrastructure budget for the drug and arms deal with an African nation. Because Silvia Conti interferes their plans, Espinosa demands that Corvo should arrange her killing. When Licato is arrested because of contact with the Mafia, he unveils Silvia Conti his identity just in that moment when the Mafia tries to kill her. At the end we learn that Tano has a mentally disabled sister and that Licato knows now who was responsible for the killing of his comrades 20 years ago.—Anonymous
