Bangladesh has been coming up with a variety of world-class content in recent periods and to be fair, Hoichoi has been a crucial constituent in this transitory phase of theirs! Following the successive triumphs with the likes of Taqdeer, Mahanagar, and Kaiser; "Karagar" seems to be yet another feather in their cap!

What incredible work!

I would go as far as to say that more than the story, which is yet to fully come out of its shell (since this is only the first part); the execution grabbed my immediate interest. From befitting composition to a concisely shot and organized Cinematography; the attempt on its whole just oozes effulgence! Furthermore, Not only did it uphold a feeling of abstrusity and anticipation throughout its timespan, but it also paved the way for additional inter-character relations and a few convenient sub-plots!

And then we add well-known veterans into the mixture and voila! This gets even better! While, the renowned names in the industry; the likes of Intekhab Dinar, Afzal Hossain, and Tasnia Farin have performed to the very best of their abilities respectively; it is Chanchal Chowdhury, however, who took precedence over everybody else! There are not enough phrases for me to convey the admiration I have for this man! Mr. Chowdhury is a treasure! A generational talent.

It's not been so long when we used to wait for years indian thriller series. But the wave is changed now, Karagar has introduced a new era for the Bangladeshi actors, writers and the well wishers related to this industry. An eyes sticking screenplay I must say. Each and evey crew have given their best. Specifically Mostak Ahmed was beyond the average. Chanchal is yet to start his legacy in first season. Looking forward to seeing the next season.

Bangla industry needs more content like this. Acting,background score,cinematography everything was amazing. The total environment was engaging. Metaphors were brilliant. Chanchal Chowdhury's acting never disappoints. He's already become a living legend.

We've seen a lot of average murder mystery and political thriller in Bangla industry where lifeless Dhaka's boring environment is seen. We don't want that. We want shows like this,premiumness like this.

It's heartwarming to see these types of web series in Bangladesh, where we can trust our industry to give us content like this generation. The thrill goes bottom to up with the excellent performance of each actor.

It was hard to believe that one person pulled every string of this drama in "KARAGAR" at the end. Can't wait to see the upcoming season.

Best ever Bangla movie in our history . I cannot believe this is our industry . Mystery after mystery. I totally shocked. Story is another level . Thanks to the karagar team. Go ahead Bangladesh.

It was a bit painful to watch Chanchal Chowdhury playing a mute (?) character because we can never have enough of him. If he doesn't talk at all that deprives us of a huge amount of pleasure.

But that's just a bittersweet opinion because he was required of it for the sake of the plot, so I will not complain.

Finally Bangladeshi creators have learned to implement cliffhanger successfully. The final episode definitely lived up to its expectations.

This series has amazing casting, most of them nailed it. Background scores are fitting too, only there were a few times it appeared to me as unnecessary (ex: when Sajib's mother meets him in prison).

Since the story isn't finished yet and it's literally named ''Karagar Part 1'', one shouldn't be so judgmental of the plot but the build up for the next part has been great, THAT I'd like to admit.

Screenplay is decent, it has the capacity to keep the viewers edge of their seats. To sum up, it might not feel something extraordinary because of the incomplete story for obvious reasons but as the first half of it, it is definitely worth watching and worth waiting for the next one. Just like a very interesting character of the plot uttered, ''Wait has many shades'' as it also teases the audience to hold on for the next journey.

It is safe to say that it was a "Successful attempt" of creating a proper story-based mystery drama. There was a decent plot, good colouring, amazing direction, mention-worthy acting and most importantly, it's a major breakthrough for Bengali OTT for its uniqueness in every aspect that it holds.

NorthEast Indian fan of Chanchal Chowdhury here and since the say i watched Aynabaji I am completely into his filmography. If India has duo like Mahesh Narayanan and Fafadh Fazil, Vetrimaran and Dhanush, Satyajit Ray sir and Soumitra Chatterjee sir than Bangladesh film industry has Syed Ahmed Shawki and my favourite Chanchal Sir.

Talking about this series, the writing and crafting of this series is wonderful. They executed it very well. Not only just Chanchal's character but each and every other character got proper screen space and has their own issues which makes it worthy. I'm just shocked with that climax of the series which arises lots of question and I hope Part 2 will be even better in terms of storyline.

Must watch for everyone who loves Mystery/thriller genre.

First season was a cult. Won't talk anything on the acting as we all know Chanchal Chowdhury always does his best. After the unfinished ending of season 1 everyone was waiting for season 2. After the season 1 I gave this series a solid 9 out of 10 but after watching season 2 I had to change my rating for this series. Season 2 was absolute garbage.

As viewer with due respect to the wonderful first season I finished the season 2. I wish there was no season 2 and it could have been it's own cult.

Season 2 basically ruined everything for us. Changing my rating to 6 out of 10.

And once again Hatsoff to Chanchal Chowdhury.

This is a mind blowing web series. We want these kind of web series or movie more. Appreciate it. Mainly their acting and the story plot was very much enjoyable. Another masterpiece part of karagar is the background music, perfect matching.

A Masterpiece Web Series from Bangladesh in respect of Story, Screenplay, Direction and over everything else - Acting.

An important but carefully neglected part of the Liberation War of Bangladesh is highlighted in the story. The struggle of a 'War child' to search out his parents is so much beautifully depicted in the series through a thrilling story.

The most mind blowing part of this series is its direction and Acting. I have watched a number of drama, movie and Web Series, but, certainly this seems to be the highest level of Acting delivered by Chanchal Chowdhury. All other characters has played their parts properly to make it a Masterpiece.

We've found the incredible duo - Shawki the amazing Director & Chanchal the Ultimate legendary cast himself ..... The plot was so intensely engaging that I had to finish it all at once .... Screenplay with BGM were synchronized perfectly --- Each and every castings were built with sublte changes as the time went by for which (I'm sure) this series made the audiences to think about the thinking ....

One thing for sure --- Part One got ended just when it was about to reveal the facts ... certainly made me curious about Part 2 !!!

This series is so so so amazing. Thanks Karagar team for give us a fantastic mistry thirller web series. I enjoy every second of this web series. I am really waiting for part 2.

Just finished watching the first part of Karagar. I started watching it mainly for two reasons. Firstly, the presence of Chanchal Chowdhury. Secondly, the good contents offered by the Bangladeshi filmmakers since quite a few months.

Chanchal Chowdhury is the force that drives the series. Others follow him. He has mastered the art of acting only with expressions.

Looks like Chanchal bron in wrong place, Bangladeshi most of the director failled to use him.

Script,dialogue everything was good.waiting for part 2.

""Karagar"" from the get go really sets the mood of mystery and suspense. The writers has done a fantastic job and The director managed to hold the suspense throughout the whole series by giving us small dose of suspense in each episode. The acting, Background Score, Camera work, location, Cast everything is brilliant, especially Chanchal Chowdhury as always absolutely brilliant performance. The so called Bangladeshi Drama(Natok) producers and directors should take some notes from KARAGAR.

Even if someone is not a native speaker, I believe they will enjoy this as well. Eagerly waiting for the 2nd part. This series is a must watch for any TV-Series enthusiast.

The story seemed slow at first but it picked up from the next 3-4 episodes.

Chanchal Chowdhury outdoes himself again!

Intekhab Dinar is very fitting the role of the jailer. Such a versatile yet underrated actor finally got to show his work in a full-fledged film. Sometimes as a jailer, sometimes as a husband, sometimes as a father and sometimes as a friend, his struggle in every role of his life is portrayed so well by him as a very good actor!

The story is the main hero in this series. Writer Neamoth Ullah Masum did exceptionality well so as Director Shaoki. I loved the story angle and It's execution. Chanchal Chowdhury did an outstanding job by playing the character. But I think his character will be more prolific in part 2. But for me intekhab dinar was the main show stealer. His role was well written in the story.... So overall karagar is an outstanding work from Bangladesh..If you want to get some desi thrill than Don't waste time watch this series.

I think it is safe to say that OTT shows (in Bengali or any any language) in the thriller genre will have a pretty hard time crossing the bar that 'Karagar' has set. It is because Karagar is perfect in almost every aspect. In viewing a series, usually four things are the most prominent for me - storyline, acting, cinematography, and music. It is safe to say that Karagar passed all of these tests with flying colors. Very little needs to be said about the story except for how well-knit it is. Believe me when I say that there is not - a - single - loose moment in the show - everything is a plot-point; and the story flows very smoothly, naturally. I have not seen such a well-constructed story, at least in Bengali OTT, for a long time. The acting is absolutely brilliant. I shall not talk much about Chanchal Chowdhury's acting; I had high hopes for him and he delivered as well. However, being sort of new to the Bangladeshi OTT demographic, I had little to no knowledge about the other actors/actresses, but all of their performances were totally top-notch. I literally cannot find any criticism. The cinematography and the music, so so well-executed, rivals that done by big budget productions, and in many instances even exceeds them. This is the first work I have seen of Shawki, and I have to say, he must be very very talented, to pull off something like this.

Though it's only part1, it has created a special place in audiences' minds.

Karagar can be easily marked as a world-class piece of the mystery thriller genre. The suspense built up to the very end and was able to keep audiences pumped up!

Can't wait for the next part!

A very beautiful and extraordinary series. I did not understand anything of the story after watching the series but I liked it.

This is the best series I ever seen.

Really appriciate about acting everyone. Chanchal Chowdhury he is the best actor. Tasnia farin also good. This is such a nice serious highly recommended.
