- After a pretty graduate student moonlighting as a baby sitter is found bound on a bed and smothered, it is found that she posed for provocative bondage photos.
- Nick and Honey Addams return home to find their baby-sitter, Jess Lake, murdered. She was tied to a bed and indeed often posed for bondage and fetish shots for photographer Marion Hammond. She also worked in a university lab with her boyfriend Gideon's father Dr. Massey, who is divorced from his unfeeling wife Stanza. Honey admits that Nick does not have an alibi but he seems to have no link to the next victim, Jess's house mate Silas, whose corpse is also arranged in the style of one of Marion's photos. Lewis finds himself tracking a killer who is a seemingly respectable citizen but who has a split personality rendering them an obsessive.—don @ minifie-1
- DI Lewis and DS Hathaway investigate the murder of 18 year-old Jess Lake who was babysitting a young child whose parents, Nick and Holly Adams, were away for the night. The girl was smothered but then tied to the bed post-mortem, fully clothed. She was not sexually assaulted. Jess spent time growing up in a foster home and the police focus on her boyfriend Gideon and her close friend Yasmin Randall. She's currently living in a squat, a former children's home where she had been in care, with pals Kyle and Silas. When the investigators find professionally taken photographs of her bound much as she was on her deathbed, it leads them to Marion Hammond. Marion admits hiring her as a photographer's model but says the photo ideas were Jess'. A child's stuffed animal is the clue that leads to the killer.—garykmcd
